This song was inspired by friends of mine who found love later in life. Uplifting love song about two people who find love in spite of their past experiences. I use vocals, guitar and a full array of instruments to make this a danceable tune suitable for a wedding.

Using guitar and other instruments to mimic the ambience of a grandfather's clock. Vocals have harmony as well and has a cheerful feel to the thought of time passage.

It Only Happens With You

My love of music started when my friend taught me my first chord on the guitar when I was 13 years old. The sound of my first e-chord changed my life. It sounded so beautiful each time I played it, so I had to learn another chord. That started a never-ending journey of discovery. 

Writing songs is a passion of mine that I dabbled in through the years, but didn't get serious until one day my daughter said "Dad, your music should be out there!" My son, the tech guru, guided me through the process of publishing and release. I encourage anyone who has a talent and love for music to go through the process of recording and publishing-- it is very rewarding! My inspiration for writing music starts with finding beautiful chords on the guitar, then adding words that fit the mood and harmonies to create that special moment in time. When writing, I try not to think about what genre I am playing. Music doesn't have to fit into a certain genre, it just has to sound good!
