For Sydney-based Dutch artist @nadiastruiwigh, ambient is a way of life. It has always been a vehicle for her to convey memories and emotions in slow, absorbing, drawn-out movements that blur the lines between techno, industrial, and something else altogether. It is at the heart of what she does with IAMBient, where you can book online sound healing or spiritual coaching sessions. It often soundtracks the Twitch channel she runs from her studio, offering live sets, gear reviews and more. It has also formed the backbone of the two albums she has put out on Central Processing Unit and Denovali Records, as well as the new one that is due on Nous'klaer Audios later this year. 

But she can also do deep, sleek, beat-driven music that makes a physical impact. Her Oooso EP for Nous'klaer Audio in March showed that, and this week's mix backs it up. Over the course of an increasingly intense hour, she layers up pressurised drones and throbbing pads, static-laced synths lumpy drums that are constantly ascending. It makes for a distinctly linear sound; a meditation on rhythm and movement that cannot fail to hypnotise anyone who gives it their full attention.

Nuevo mix en la nube del sonido a cargo de nuestro buen amigo Mario (aka Lucient) . Mix de carácter especial al haber sido grabado en directo en la reciente edición de Jaleo Real (somewhere near Ávila). 

Algunos lo vivimos en directo y otros tantos podéis gozarlo en diferido. Un mix que en resumidas palabras está hecho pa dejar mal a la peña. Técnica de 10, selección de 11, 4 CDJs y 1 Space echo RE-20 para hacerte viajar durante casi dos horas.

Mario es, entre otras cosas, uno de los capos de Lapsus (agencia de booking, sello, promotora), una de las cabezas pensantes del festival Embassat de sabadell y el 50% de CEE Shepherds. A parte de todo eso es un tío majo de cojones y es un honor que se una a nuestra serie de mixes.

"It was my fourth time behind the decks of my favorite club in Lyon and it was my best experience in this place so far. 
I loved spending these three hours and opening the club for @voiski's live set and @sinaxxmusic. 
Starting with deep techno and moving towards something more mental, broken and full of weird textures, using sometimes timeless bangers and new musical weapons. This set was full of spontaneity and that's why it was this good.
Sadly, the record cut somewhere before the end of my set for some reasons but nevermind, feeling really stoked to have these 2,5 hours as a reminder.
