EDA is a combination of London hood, Turkish roots and vintage soul inspired by jazz, hip hop, rhythm & blues.

Born in Edmonton EDA's performed at Sofar Sounds in Istanbul, Secret Garden Party, Jazz Cafe and Proud Camden culminating in a Croatian tour during summer 2017 which saw her support the likes of Dawn Penn, Jorja Smith and IMDDB at Outlook and Dimensions Festivals. 

A stint on Obonjan island in Croatia saw EDA make her first radio appearance on Thristian's Worldwide FM show leading to a discovery by Gilles Peterson, who invited her to perform live under the stars in the island's amphitheatre.

EDA is currently in the studio with established producers creating much anticipated material. She plays regular acoustic sets with her guitarist, Mike Coppa, and has made guest appearances on Radar Radio, Reprezent FM, and the Rinse FM drive time show with Emerald.

EDA runs her own open mic in Hoxton east London, Yuvakutu which means nest and box in Turkish. Yuvakutu is a place for grassroots talent and young artists to perform live music, spoken word, rap and more in an authentic organic space, revealing a tribe of performers. Yuvakutu is on the first Tuesday of the month in Hoxton from 8pm at Folklore, 186 Hackney Road.
