Before they head underground to finish their new album which features some of the biggest names, the globally-loved Hamburg duo Digitalism are unleashing their first ‘pure’ club track since the red hot ‘Fahrenheit 32’ in January 2014.

Digitalism’s brand new track ‘Roller’ does exactly what it says on the tin. Thanks to a fearsome kick drum, screaming lead synths and an insatiable groove, the boys have got a monstrous tune on their hands that is sure to destroy club and festival scenes this summer the world over. Full of raucous energy, the track mirrors the freshness that could be found on Digitalism’s debut album ‘Idealism’ back in 2007.

Mixed by Matt Wiggins at none other than Paul Epworth’s Church Studios, ‘Roller’ comes complete with a delightfully low-slung remix from another duo who are currently on top form, Dense & Pika. Alongside that there’s two bonus DJ beats and a ‘Roll-A-Pella’ which will all be housed on a limited edition 12” that’s sure to go down an absolute treat with Digitalism’s loyal and dedicated fan base.

The band are set to remerge in September to reveal their hugely exciting new live show at Lollapalooza Berlin, but in the meantime their new tune is set to keep things rollin' for a good while until then.

All hail MVSEVM! The next release from MVSEVM comes armed to the teeth with transcendent big room vibes. 

Take the astoundingly punchy "Expectations", which sets things off to an immediate sizzle. Bleeding out with infectious vocals from a world famous singer, it's always teetering on the edge of overheating and causing a dub-techno-meets-throbbing-indie-house-anthem meltdown of sorts. Everything careens towards the four minute mark, at which point the gloves come off and things degenerate into what sounds like a futuristic karaoke party taking place with mutated dolphins at the edge of the Pacific Ocean at the beginning of armageddon, the sky coloured a streaky cotton candy pink and blue. 

Pori Jazz comes out the gate with a sizzling electricity simmering in the some deeply satisfying bassy horns and a trifecta of drums fluctuating over a baseline that's sure to cause a few goosebumps on a decent sound system. It's a slice of house maximalism served up perfectly - recommended highly for fans of early Zombie Disco Squad, Round Table Knights, or any kind of stuff that immediately makes you start stomping and clapping uncontrollably on first listen. 

If Bob Ross from The Joy of Painting dropped peyote and went on a three day spirit quest, it’s very likely that he’d hear something like "Calligraphy" at the peak of his hallucination. A true big room anthem that’s simultaneously focused and wild, careening towards a blindingly bright climax, all rainbows, synth stabs, hands raised in the air, like some mp3 based new age religion based around the concept of 'good vibe synthesis'. The dub version is optional for those who care more about dancing than drawing techniques. 

Finally, Obi Blanche pumps some extra muscle onto Calligraphy's already booming breakdown, something reminiscent of the twerky innovation in Renaissance Man's "Spraycan" except with a gymnasium full of chopped accordians instead of an airhorn. Pushing the original into slightly weirder, darker grounds; it's dance music to make your eyes roll into the back of your head. 

MVSEVM has already garnered big support for their releases from Sinden, Fatboy Slim, Laidback Luke, Fake Blood, Crookers, Riva Starr, Feadz and way more!

Today hurts and I know it's going to get worse, how could it not when you lose someone so special, so talented, someone you shared the majority of your life with.

Adrian taught me so much. He single handidly taught me to DJ, I actually had lessons at his house every Friday afternoon when I was 17. Every time I got a mix right he would reward me with a 12", always rap records.

He also taught me to be a friend, to be humble, and most importantly to laugh at myself.

I luckily have a brother I love more than anything in the world but unfortunately I lost another one last night. We all did, he touched so many people in the best way possible - in their hearts.

We used to have this joke "If it doesn't sound right, make it sound more black". I made this track quite a while ago and named it after that. 

This is to the memory of a beautiful person who will be missed by everyone that ever had the pleasure of meeting him, even for a fleeting moment. He was always a gentleman, a true legend, and my friend that is how you will be remembered - as a legend, a dance legend.
