Angelia Word is a Chicago-based DJ, interdisciplinary artist, and curator. Her sound is influenced by Ghetto, Juke, and Jungle, the rawness of Lo-Fi and Classic House and a propensity for the sinister. 

Speed is her weakness: bouncing from lush and uncanny melodies to punchy percussion and vocals boiling over with energy. She is co-founder of the FemmeDecks collective, whose mission is to radically transform the Electronic music industry to represent its obscured diversity.
