Miguel’s journey with music began at the age of 8, and since then, he has been deeply immersed in the rhythmic tapestry of music. Growing up, he played Jungle and Chicago House at events in the Manchester rave scene. In 2001, he made his debut at Sankeys Soap, where he remained a resident until its closure in 2017.

As one of Sankeys’ longest-standing residents, Miguel has been part of some of Manchester’s most iconic nights, including Tribal Sessions, The Redlight, Kaluki, Rejekts, Smugglersrun, and Sankeys Soap Stars. The former imprint has been a constant source of dancefloor weaponry and has already delivered its eighth edition, much to the enjoyment of some of the most raucous dancefloors around. As well as penning outrageous hitters Anna is always a sure fire bet for her outstanding skills in the DJ booth and she has a massive summer schedule ahead of her that includes appearances at Houghton Festival, ION Festival, Junction 2, Madruga Festival, Baum Festival, Glastonbury, the huge FFRC x fabric 25 years event at OFF Week, and of course her beloved fabric residency.

There is a very good reason that her skills are in high demand and that is largely down to her deft record selections. A self confessed vinyl head of the highest order, her record bag always spans a finely curated cross section of techno, acid, crunchy breaks, and bass loaded hitters.
