Ballad of Oaxaca/Little Red Hairs

This is where I post recordings I've made either in my so-called "studio" or at remote locations where live music is played.

Some are home recordings of original compositions. Instruments include nylon string guitar, electric basses, lap steel, and mostly midi drums. 

I used to record bands at their venues to an old 8-channel ADAT then mix it on my computer with Sonar. Some of those mixes are here as well. The intention was to help the bands get a good-yet-cheap demo that would help get them gigs. 

I'm the house bass player in a (schmecklehead) blues band and we host a pro blues jam at The Vu Ultra Bar in Newhall CA. So you'll also find some of my stereo digital recordings of those jams. I use an inexpensive TASCAM DR-03 laid innocently between two booths out in front of the stage (30-40 ft). I'm stilling working on splitting out individual songs and will probably cycle them in and out of Soundcloud depending on space available. I dunno. It's lookin' like a lot of work so we'll see...
