Collaborative Intelligence – God is a Bottom is a concept EP about sex parties and drug use. The track titles come from things I’ve witnessed, and the music is my attempt to capture how those moments sounded in my head at the time. It’s meant to be disorienting and visceral, sometimes pleasurable, sometimes uncomfortable, and sometimes numb. The goal isn’t to tell you how to feel, but to let you experience the strange mix of euphoria, emptiness, and intensity that defined those nights.

On this record, I decided to move a bit away from using AI and focus more on analog synths and hands-on production. For drums, I used a Roland SPD Pro along with a few drum computers to build layered rhythms and textures. For bass, I played a 5-string guitar.

Most of the synth work came from an Atom SQ and a Roland SH-32, along with a cheap Thomann guitar that added some grit and personality. I also used a lot of plugins from Waves and IK Multimedia to shape the mix and enhance the overall sound.

This project feels more organic and raw a step back from the AI collaboration, but still experimental and full of character.

Hey there, I'm Eddie, and I'm from the Netherlands. I've been working in the live music industry for over 15 years, doing everything from lights and sound to video, backline, roadie work, tech, and more.

I haven’t found the right people to collaborate with yet, so I started experimenting with AI  (Collaborative Intelligence) as a creative partner. It’s been a way to fill that gap and turn half formed ideas into finished tracks not to replace musicians, but to keep creating instead of leaving ideas unfinished.

I love playing Bass, Drums, Keys on the Atom SQ, and a bit of Guitar. In my music creation, I use samplers and AI, but not to completely generate songs; rather, I use them to sample Guitar or keyboard parts. Most of the time 60% what you hear is me, or my melody or riff ideas grooves etc. 

My music is primarily instrumental, but I plan to introduce vocals in 2026 / 7. I'm currently learning to sing. For now, I'm having a great time recording and mastering tracks for fun by myself. Although this is just a hobby for me, I'm a total gear geek, and I love it!
