This project is a cry for justice which steamed from an unjust situation where a mother was stripped of her new born offspring at Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York City.
The hospital deemed the mother and father unfit after they did not consent to a blood transfusion without adequate information from the doctors as to why they wanted to perform the procedure.
In the aftermath of that, the family have been fighting CPS and the courts who went further and took their oldest son from the home. The mother (Nekaybaw) was also incarcerated 4 months post labor for not allowing CPS access to her son.
The mother and father (Eddie Bellas) who are musicians decided to put together this project with hopes of restoring their family by getting their message out to the masses.
