After the success of the now classic "There Is Only One" Eddie Cumana reunites with Lula and Alan T for this new release entitled "Like An Android" with the addition of Franklin Fuentes featured in a leading part of the Bridge alongside Alan T and Lula.

This is a Techno record with "House Music programming, sequences and techniques", "Hypnotic vocal hooks", "A crowd connecting breakdown" and "Four Industry Veterans" all rolled up into one record that will have you run to the DJ booth asking for the track ID!

The main version of "Like An Android" features Lula and various vocoder male voices programmed at different octaves to symbolize different Androids performing the main hook; Layer after layer it builds and grows introducing arpeggiating modular synthesizers into a steady hypnotic monster only to unravel and pour out into a breakdown featuring a micro but epic score that will connect you to everyone else on the dancefloor as "WE ARE HERE" is repeated over and over by the Androids and brings everyone to the present moment "WE ARE HERE" INSIDE THE SPEAKER "WE ARE HERE" CAN YOU MOVE? LETS GO! then slamming the beat back into a frenzy, it takes off into another epic ride until the outro.

For the musical side, Eddie Cumana channels his inner Moroder vs Kraftwerk on a bed of TWILO and VINYL night schooling. Newcomer HighKey Lit, brings the heat with a peak hour hypnotic techno dub!

But be aware: The ANDROIDZ are not ANDROIDS.

The "ANDROIDZ" are all those humans that are awake and march to the beat of their own drum without feeding into what society says to value only to become a mechanical human in search of belonging, like most people seem to be these days, feeding into things they do not love but their society tells them are important. They are hypnotized into a routine that they perpetrate for their entire life as if they have been programmed "Like An Android"!

The ANDROIDZ are those beings that actually live in the moment and create their life organically and not mechanically. They will try everything on for size at least once! Even moving, dancing, walking and talking Like An Android! LETS GO! Are you an ANDROIDZ?

Here are the Eddie Cumana's remixes of Made By Monkeys "I Try" originally released in 2003 under license by Star69 but now getting a welcomed re-release by its home label. The KULT Records single entitled "I Try" was Made By Monkeys first foray into the world of dance music; The track debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Breakouts chart in May of 2003 and continued to chart on the top 50 for 26 weeks making it the longest charting track of the year for club play. I Try charting worldwide for both club and radio play and was heavily supported by international DJs like Paul Oakenfold, Sasha & Digweed, Pete Tong and Steve Lawler. Introduced by Peter Rauhofer on his Live@Roxy2 CD and featured on Ministry Of Sound Annual 2004, this track was licensed to a total of 15 other compilations throughout that same year. FINALLY getting a welcome re-release on the label that owns this composition: KULT Records! With amazing new forthcoming mixes in 2010 and a new album in the works for the talented Montreal based group. ONLY on KULT Records of course....where else?
