An instrumental that wanted an extemporaneous vocal for some reason.  It's the twin to Merry Seasonal.  Both are Holiday songs, in my opinion.

It's been a while since I've recorded.  I'm back in the southland and the Holidays are here.  I wanted to break out of a period of musical avoidance with a quick attempt to capture a feeling of the holiday this year.  I don't know.  I liked it and decided to share.

Someone's in That Chair

This is another extemporaneous "holiday-vibe" piece.  I had fun with the first one I did, and decided to make another one.  This one has traces of away in a manger, we three kings, and be thou my vision.  The song was recorded in one take in piano and then edited mixed copied and layered a little bit to add body and some ambience.

What's in The Box

A simple song that ended up with a nice little overlap of melodies.

All the Same

This song is the second vocal/piano piece in a little song cluster that started with "All the Same."  I posted that song about three weeks ago.  This was the song that hung out in the background while I recorded the other song and then demanded to be recorded too.   I'm glad it did though.  It's fun to play and sing, it's dreamy, and it makes me feel peaceful.

This is a somewhat loosely structured piano piece with synth pads.  This is one that came through quickly.
