London based House duo Saison make their welcome return to Toolroom's Trax imprint this August with their brand-new single, 'Drop It'. Having spent the best part of a decade honing their trademark sound, this dynamic duo have seen a string of successful releases on an impressive line-up of labels including Future Disco, Defected, Guesthouse, Large, Nervous, Big Love, alongside their own signature imprint, No Fuss Records. With a unique sound that incorporates influences from their disparate backgrounds, Saison's music is raw, heady and illustrative of House music at its very best. 'Drop It' is their exciting new follow up to their debut on the label back in May and oozes sophistication which reflects their moniker sound and groove. Heavyweight House drums, pulsating bassline, intricate percussion and bouncing build-ups of tech tinged claps and drops resonate throughout, making this another hard hitting dancefloor weapon from this impressive duo.

We welcome back label favourite, Siege, to Toolroom Trax this autumn with his brand-new single, ‘Waiting’. A long-standing member of the Toolroom family, Siege has had a multifaceted career with tracks signed to Saved, Circus, We Are The Brave, Truesoul and Strictly Rhythm garnering support from heavyweights Jax Jones, Leftwing : Kody, Danny Howard and TCTS, culminating in shows at distinguished venues across the globe including Studio 338, Eden Ibiza, Motion Bristol, The Pickle Factory and Chicago Social Club in Amsterdam. 

His latest career venture has seen him work closely with the Toolroom Academy on a series of sample packs and most recently, his own course, ‘Big Room Tech House’, which offers a definitive tutorial on how to make that signature sound that Toolroom is famed for. ‘Waiting’ is a track that was born out of, and developed, throughout the course and when label boss, Mark Knight, heard it, he signed it instantly for Toolroom’s Trax imprint. From the organic nature in which the track came to fruition, it was decided to set up a remix competition to all the students on the course, with the winner going on to be featured on the final product, and we are pleased to announce that the winning remix, hand-chosen by Siege himself, is from Swiss DJ and producer, Nick Harvey. 

As you would expect from Siege, ‘Waiting’ is a straight-up dancefloor groover radiating that infamous, big-room energy from the get-go! Nick’s remix offers a slightly deeper, more melodic take on the original with more subtle textures and moody atmospherics resulting in a dusky roller produced with the dancefloor in mind. Enjoy!

For our next release of 2023, we’re back with a label debut from an artist we’ve been keeping an eye on for a while now, none other than Stoke-On-Trent’s very own DJ and producer, Eden Prince, who lands on Toolroom’s Trax imprint with brand-new single, ‘Take It To The Rhythm’.

Growing up in London, Eden’s passion for music production began as a child when he stumbled across beat-making software while looking for games on his cousin's computer. After constantly being caught sneaking into his school studios after-hours to work on hip-hop beats, Eden’s music teacher persuaded him to go to Leeds College of Music, where he honed in on his skills and developed a real taste for House music.

With a locker full of remixes, over 250 million+ streams on Spotify and plenty of originals on labels including Mad Decent, Ultra, Atlantic, D4 D4NCE and Solotoko, it seems he’s only just getting started. Born from one of Toolroom’s infamous writing camps, ‘Take It To The Rhythm’ is a crisp and energetic cut featuring robust drums, a rumbling low-end, perky percussion and a powerful bass hook with exciting breaks and builds throughout; another club groover that is going to go off in 2023!

Up next, German DJ and selector Eddie Thoneick returns to the label, this time around collaborating with fresh, new Scottish talent Ross Thomson to drop a serious bomb of a track, ‘Mind Control’.

After making his Toolroom debut last year with the sub heavy, ‘Take It Back’, Eddie Thoneick kicks up 2023 to a new level with ‘Mind Control’, a track that packs a serious punch with the bare essentials. Meticulously put together from start to finish, ‘Mind Control’ offers a blend of rock steady drums, bumping bass lines and a quirky, LFO filtered arpeggiator that pushes the track on.

With a career spanning well over 20 years Eddie Thoneick is a veteran in the scene, and when it comes to dance music, his latest release with Ross Thomson cements his credibility as one of the great producers in House Music.

Toolroom are heading down to the dance floor on this next one, as we welcome German DJ and production duo Raumakustik and French DJ and producer Tony Romera, who land with their deep club weapon ‘That Groove’.

Making a return to the firm, Dresden based Raumakustik are certified Toolroom veterans who have seen huge success throughout their careers. With a reputation for dropping solid club bangers, Raumakustik have become a formidable force in dance music.
