Featuring as one of melodic house and techno’s favourite duos, German pairing Monkey Safari continue to
showcase their studio prowess as they explore the corners and nuances of the genre via releases on
the Anjunadeep, Bedrock, Get Physical, and their own Hommage imprint. And while the DJs, producers, and label
bosses continue to impress with a wealth of original material, their next project welcomes a fresh track under their DJ
Island ‘collaborative guise’, having unveiled the alias on home turf for the disco-fuelled single, ‘Sometimes’. Hot on
its heels, June welcomes a debut appearance on Thick As Thieves’ newly launched label, having toured with the
Melbourne mainstays years, as they follow material from Super Flu, The Journey, and Not Just Me to deliver their
‘Fix Your Life’ EP.
A sun-soaked anthem guided by resonant piano melodies, infectious soulful vocals, and slinking hats, ‘Fix Your Life’
welcomes a bright, feel-good slice of house music. To contrast, the warping ‘Pills’ dives down a late night, funkinfused wormhole as acid leads meet skittering drums and bumping bass licks to round out proceedings in style.

Ramin Rezaie returns to Solid Grooves sister imprint Solid Grooves Raw with 'Lucid Dreaming'.

A favourite amongst the Solid Grooves family and an individual at the heart of the imprint under his role as label manager, Ramin Rezaie keeps delivering inside the booth and in the studio as he shapes his clean-cut sound as a DJ and producer on the rise. Having launched his own label Silky Records to open 2022, May sees a welcome return to Solid Grooves Raw as he turns in fresh heat with 'Lucid Dreaming'.

Harnessing his trademark rubbery basslines amongst slick percussion, bright stabs and hypnotic, hazy vocal interjections, 'Lucid Dreaming' delivers yet another early hours roller from the label regular as he continues his ongoing hot streak.

Channelling the effortless drum grooves and airy melodies Romanian artists are well known for with his own tougher take on the genre, 'Wasted' balances light vocals with darker rumbling sub-bass for a subtle yet certified crowd mover.

Eddy’s musical journey began in the town of Palermo in Sicily, Italy, where his love of rhythm and beats saw him play drums in bands since the tender age of twelve. He later graduated to Palermo’s European School of Jazz where he took his talent to the next level by studying piano, guitar and percussion. 

Eddy began producing in 2010, taking inspiration from his classical training and influence from his love for the old school, particularly 90’s hip hop in the form of Cypress Hill, Tribe Called Quest and Ice Cube, to create his own unique form of tech house and techno.
