When Danny McNamara, lead singer of Embrace and dear friend, heard our Rage Against The Machine remix he suggested we go the other way and do a remix of this gay-disco classic. So we rubbed it the only way we knew. "Candi Staton for the Justice generation" said Utah Saints, and they played it at midnight on New Years Eve that year. From Reading to ibiza, this mix crossed so many boxes. Thanks to all DJs that supported it.

We did this mix for our pals Slyde with Katty Heath and they loved it so much they made it the A-side. We had some amazing feedback, many say this should have been a hit.

LOSERS VS SLYDE - Youre My Fix

When Tom and I first got together to produce stuff, he was listening to a lot of Gallows and somehow blagged an official remix. The original is, unless your a fan, really out-there. I felt it needed pulling in, the same way Alain Braxe and Fred Falke gave that Test Icicles track a sense of control on a dancefloor. I still get messages about this, lots of love for it out there but it never came out because even though the band liked it, the singer hated it, so it got vetoed. it'll probably never come out now.

Gallows - Belly Of A Shark (Losers Remix)

Tom hates Dubstep, I love Dubstep, so this was done under duresse, but Tom had to agree it works really nicely. hybrid did a wonderful remix of one of our Losers tracks (Summertime Rolls featuring Brian Molko) by way of a thank you.

Hybrid - Disappear Here (Losers Dip Their Toes in Dubstep Remix)

Of course nobody knows about this one because Josh Steele's Flux Pavilion mix was so good it eclipsed everything around it!

Freestylers - Cracks ft Belle Humble (Losers Rmx) - Never Say Die

A generation 2 Snow Patrol remix, I did Wow with Billy Borez but this was with Tom Bellamy, more recently. It's a lovely song and we really wanted to keep the integrity of that through this mix, while making it work for a dancefloor. This was the shortest of 3 mixes we did.

Officers & Gary Numan PETALS (Losers Rosé Remix)

This is the track Tom and I are most proud of from the first Losers album (Gung Ho! Records) It was used as the official Olympic BMX Championship tune at London 2012 and more recently in the Far Cry 3 game campaign. Azan means 'call to prayer' -the vocal was recorded live from a hotel room balcony in Istanbul at prayer time. Somebody needs to use this in a film. Contact me via www.eddytm.com if that's you.
