This is a demo of a collaboration in the works between Robyn Mello (Edenspore/Philadelphia) and Wynton Huddle (Medusa's Disco/Lancaster). They met at a Central PA festival after they'd heard each other perform back-to-back sets, and Wynton sent Robyn a bunch of phone recordings thereafter to see what she'd do. This is the first.

Robyn And Wynton - The Forest (demo)

One of the earlier recordings I ever made, these words were written throughout a particularly tumultuous period of winter 2013-2014 in which I tried to shelter myself from other people's swings and failed miserably [Winter is hard, y'all, but don't turn on your loved ones! Love them!]. One night, I burrowed into my little apartment, wrote the music to accompany the words, and recorded it all with Garageband huddled in blankets on my mattress on the floor. I just remembered it existed, now 4 years later, and why not share? It sure is nice to remember from where we came...
