October 16th 2020 sees North East rockers Edenthorn make a loud return with their new single A Matter of Opinion - which is the first of many new releases in the coming months. A Matter Of Opinion reveals a bold, clear-cut and notable message from Planet Rock's Best New Band (The Rocks 2020) runners up. The energetic single captures Edenthorns signature sound with melodic melodies, infectious choruses, catchy riffs and a solid rhythm section. “A Matter of Opinion is a song about sticking your middle finger up at those who try to tear you down.” Explains frontman Kyle Tague. “At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter how good you are within your field, someone is always going to have an opinion. But that’s all it is... an opinion.”

So far in 2020, Edenthorn came second as Best New Band at the Planet Rock awards, they secured a slot at the Winters End Festival as well as confirming SOS Festival (rescheduled July 2nd 2021), The Rock and Blues Custom Show, Wildfire Festival and Planet Rockstock; where they will open up on the main stage playing alongside Monster Truck, Diamond Head and Vanderburg. Most recently, the band confirmed the main support slot for Those Damn Crows at Nightrain, Bradford (rescheduled 16th March 2021).

A Matter of Opinion

Geordie rockers Edenthorn have gained an extremely loyal and ever growing fan base since the release of their debut album ‘The Maze’ in 2015 through extensive touring around the UK, solid memorable live performances and a personal and direct connection with their fans. Their upbeat, anthemic, sometimes intense Rock N’ Roll captures the hearts of Rock, Hard Rock, and even Metal fans of all ages. “Live shows are what we love best and what we work so hard on perfecting! If you were to come and see us live expect a raw, honest, never boring, fully live and tight rock show.”

The energetic single captures Edenthorns signature sound with melodic melodies, infectious choruses, catchy riffs and a solid rhythm section. A couple of months later on the 18th December 2020, the band released ‘1993’ – the punchy, melodic and light-hearted second single from their forthcoming album, which is set for release this year. Most recently on 18th June 2021 the Geordie foursome released their fresh, fierce, honest and punchy single ‘The Noise in My Head’ which was deemed as “The most bad-ass, attitude driven track to come out of Newcastle at the moment.” 

Edenthorn will continue to release a succession of new music throughout 2021; with a new album to follow.
