More than 100 people sent me messages praising and asking me to post this set! I didn't really understand why, but after listening carefully I understood...hahahaha It really was one of the best sets of my life! The Rio Zouk Congress is inspiring! It was a set that, on Sunday afternoon, I did a poll on the congress whastapp group asking what kind of music people wanted to hear. So I followed the percentage of each type chosen: 65% creamy songs, 25% medium energy songs and 10% high energy. And it was like that!

Não tinha entendido muito o porquê, mas ouvindo depois com cuidado entendi...kkkkkkk Realmente foi um dos melhores sets da minha vida! O Rio Zouk Congress é inspirador! Foi um set que, na tarde do domingo, eu fiz uma enquete no grupo de whastapp do congresso perguntando que tipo de música as pessoas queriam ouvir. Então eu segui a porcentagem de cada tipo escolhido: 65% musicas cremosas, 25% músicas de média energia e 10% de alta energia. E foi assim!

A few people insisted I should share this set, so here it is! It’s not exactly what I usually post - this one’s on the calmer side, as I played it between 3:20 and 4:20 AM (almost end of the party). Still, it moves through a few moods and genres - definitely keeps things interesting. Enjoy!

I always say I’m not a big fan of closing parties, because I’m torn between two camps - the ones who want to hug and chill to end the night, and the ones who want to go wild and get completely worn out before heading home to rest.

This time, I had no plan and no clear vision for my set. Yet somehow, it turned out to be my favourite one of the whole event - the moment I felt the most natural behind the decks 😌

Since I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do, I started by doing what I usually do - following the vibe of the previous DJ to keep the transition smooth. Then it felt like the dancefloor was leaning towards a more chilled mood. But after a while, I felt we needed one last burst of energy before sliding fully into the huggy, emotional part. So I went for what I love most - energizing, well-known tracks that make you want to get up and dance (or sing, in Britney’s case 😅). After that, I eased into some more laid-back traditional tunes, leading towards a calm finish.

The result? A little surprise in the second half 🤣 something you wouldn’t normally expect from a closing set, but I loved it. Now it’s your turn to enjoy it too!
