First things first: thank you to @wakerlink and @bootsnakemusic for reviewing this track and giving feedback before I released it! I always appreciate your help, guys.

Back in the early days of Soundcloud memes - what used to be called "weird Soundcloud" and might now be called "Soundclown" - Skrillex memes were the bread and butter of the community. They were everywhere, mostly because Skrillex was so incredibly popular and influential on the Dubstep scene. You don't hear much about Skrillex these days, though, he could never quite reclaim the acclaim he got during the start of his career. That must be demoralizing...but on the bright side, on rare occasions people like me will remember him and make shitposts with his music. That's something, I guess?

Anyways, ULTRAKILL is a fun game, and one of the only games that I play intermittently these days. I don't have steam installed, so I just redownload the free demo off of itch.io, perfect-rank all of the levels as fast as I can, then uninstall it. I've finally learnt how to dash-jump consistently! (But as far as I can tell, the momentum preservation mechanics implemented into the slide aren't present in the demo version, so I can't do any super crazy speedrun stuff.) 

If you've never played it and are curious, try out the demo - it's free, and should give you enough content for you to make an informed decision about buying the full version(although, as a warning, it's still in early-access and incomplete).
