Unbalance - Gamma Festival 2022 [Gamma_Stage]

In 10th episode of our series we meet Danil Iniushkin aka Werfol. He always wants to explore new music, offering his listeners fresh emotions and atmosphere. The producer from Kaliningrad gets deep into different genres, recreating or using instruments not in accordance with their original purposes. This is how Werfol extracts sounds that get him interested, then building solid tracks from them. 

Despite the fact that the Werfol is more of a dance project, Danil recorded an ambient mix for TESTFM. Basically, here are collected some of the most favorite compositions that create a peculiar mood.

Foreign is the pseudonym used by Miguel Vázquez under which he plays sets of IDM, avant-techno and electro sounds, combining the smoothness and efficiency of transparent melodies with abstract landscapes and dense atmospheres loaded with complex polyrhythmic structures. Throughout the years Foreign has played in several events of Hard Taste, A.I. Series and in clubs like NAO, Dub Club, Specka, Graffiti, Shagü Club, etc. Has also published podcasts for different record labels and web platforms (Sin Hilo, Gladio Operations, Zanderhythm, Archaic, etc.). In 2022 he created his own label, Mutoscope Records, mostly oriented to IDM sound. Its first release (by Veelargo) was released in November 2023.

This Mix was done with all vinyl except for track 11.

STC PODCAST [ 007 ] mixed by Abyssal Structures

Following the release of the first installment of the "Overlay Reworks" series in May, featuring remixes by Hollie Kenniff and Rafael Anton Irisarri, Guentner and Spieth have invited renowned artists Pole and Abul Mogard to rework tracks from their acclaimed album "Overlay", released last year. These two innovators are celebrated for their ongoing contributions to the electronic music scene.

Pole, a pioneer in minimal dub and glitch, brings his unique touch to the project. Abul Mogard, known for his impressive ambient compositions, adds his signature depth and emotional resonance. The result of their creative efforts are two profound tracks that subtly reference the originals while showcasing their unmistakable virtuosity.

This EP exudes exclusivity and originality and represents a landmark for the Affin label. It will be released on October 4th as a limited 10" lathe cut with hand-numbered print and sticker, as well as a digital download version.
