"Somaticae melts club music tropes, using dissonance and micro-tuning. Présent Perpétuel revolves around a 4 parts long-form piece, Faux Futur. Narratively irresistible, definitely epic, it’s an absolute, incendiary banger. Mental and moist, all at once.

The balance between sophisticated composition and sound design, and immediate and sharp delivery is perfect. Somaticae records his tunes live, stretching his studio performances to get out of his comfort zone to eventually share the bits that surprised himself. And down the road, the audience as well.

Présent Perpétuel begins and ends with two short pieces, titled eponymously: contemplative and suspended, out of time. De Murcia’s talent for melody shines here". Blandet’s work revolves around materials that will no longer exist in the future – such as plastic, which he believes will be banned due to its negative impact on the environment. He sees plastic as the new ivory, a material whose use has already been restricted. Blandet consciously uses primitive tools and techniques. For this shelf, he broke, burnt, smashed, and melted industrial plastics.

2. Concrete Crystal - An Obnoxious Talk

Rafah camp, established in 1949, is located in the south of Gaza, near the Egyptian border. In the year after Rafah camp was created, thousands of refugees moved from the camp to a nearby housing project at Tel El-Sultan, making the camp almost indistinguishable from the adjacent city.

Originally home to 41,000 refugees who had fled from the hostilities of the 1948 war, Rafah is now home to more than 104,000 refugees. High population density is a major problem, with people living in crowded shelters along extremely narrow streets.


The blockade on Gaza has made life more difficult for many refugees in the camp. However, since the “adjustment” to the blockade, Gaza witnessed a construction boom due to the illegal materials entering Gaza through the tunnels with Egypt enriching some people in the camp.

However, unemployment levels remain very high, leaving a staggering proportion of the population dependent on UNRWA’s food and cash assistance. Basic hygiene is also of great concern in the camp, where 90 per cent of the water is unfit for human consumption.

BedouinDrone - Rafah

Abu Kishk (Arabic: أبو كشك) was a Palestinian village in the Jaffa Subdistrict located 12 km northeast of Jaffa, situated 2 km northwest of the Yarkon River. The village was depopulated during the 1947–1948 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine on 30 March 1948 by the Irgun.

Abu Kishk probably fell into Zionist hands some time before the end of the British Mandate on 15 May 1948. Palestinian historian 'Arif al-'Arif indicated that by this time, Zionist forces were in control of the whole coastal area between Haifa and Tel Aviv. Abu Kishk may have been affected by events in the adjacent village of al-Shaykh Muwannis; both villages were located just beyond the borders of Tel Aviv and were targeted for attack early in the war. Israeli historian Benny Morris write that “the final evacuation of the area just north of Tel Aviv was prompted in large measure by IZL (Irgun Zvai Leumi) actions.” An earlier agreement between the villages of al-Shaykh Muwannis and the Haganah to observe a truce in the area did not deter the IZL from striking at the community leaders. The IZL infiltrated into the village at the end of March and kidnapped five of the village leaders. The attack prompted a large flight of people from the surrounding coastal area.

The village site lies in the suburbs of the expanding town of Hertzeliyya.

A fenced-in military hardware manufacturing complex occupies the site and a lare area around it. Cactuses and almond trees grow near and overpass that has been built across the highway that runs through the complex. Outside the fence, on the southeast side of the village site, are the remnants of two houses, one of which had been a private school for the chidren of al-Sawalima.

Jump starting his DJ career in Therapy Sessions Portugal events back in 2006 after he began taking up music production in a serious manner, C-Netik quickly made an impact on the local Drum & Bass scene. Rising through the ranks as he joined Yellow Stripe, and performing at numerous events, he deeply influenced the Portuguese movement's darker and harder side, which amassed a loyal following over time. Eventually co-founding Yellow Stripe Recordings and successfully releasing music by himself, the YS roster and most of the scene's biggest hitters, C-Netik and YSR's impact over the years has been memorable.

Following a string of releases on Yellow Stripe, PRSPCT and other labels back in 2013, as well as landing in the Masters of Hardcore TOP 100 with 'Retrofit', the next few years were very productive with plenty of new original works and collaborations with the likes of Cooh, Bratkilla, Sinister Souls, Switch Technique, his YS comrades and more, and releases on legendary labels like Industrial Strength and several others followed.

C-Netik has played alongside most of the D&B and Hardcore scene's biggest names, from The Panacea, Noisia or Andy C, to Angerfist, Mad Dog or The Outside Agency, and regularly features in internationally renowned events. He has showcased his brand of music all over Europe and as far as Japan, currently being requested to visit even more countries for the first time. C-Netik performed at some of the biggest harder styles events like Dominator, Q-Base, Decibel and PRSPCTXL over the years, further cementing his position in Hardcore Drum & Bass history.

Fast-forward to present day - after some of his hardest releases yet in past years, the new experimental sounds of C-Netik's D&B, Hardcore Techno and other reinventions are ready to be mixed up with new originals, collaborations and remix work, as he prepares his first full-length release unrestricted by genres or styles, an approach also to be applied in his live performances going forward.
