Formerly the A&R of Get Physical Music, and now with his own label ‘With Compliments’ ready to go, MANTU makes his Get Physical debut with his “Artbridge” EP, bringing Philip Bader and Habischman along for the ride. The Original Mix boasts a playful bassline thrown under a driving percussion, pushing the limits and crossing genre borders to create a uniquely funky vibe that creeps into your mind. Philip Bader takes things deeper and turn us the intensity with his remix. Bigger percussion and addition elements create a powerhouse track that gets your heart pumping. Habischmann takes his remix into an atmospheric direction, with heavy basslines hitting the floor next to deep kicks. Israeli duo Roi Okev & Hakimonu collaborate and deliver an excellent three tracker of deep and devastating goodness.

The title track 'Changes' starts off moody and dubby, before the evocative vocal lands, adding more depth again. This beauty subtle meanders effortlessly as it unfurls its mysterious magical spell, leaving a sophisticated trail of class behind itself. This track was featured on Hernan Cattaneo's Balance CD, and since then has been causing bait of a commotion with dance music fans and DJs alike.

'Stimulation' is a swirling pad laden chunk of deepness. Its cool keys create tension and the drop is a magical spell binding chasm of coolness. A mood setting gem if ever there was one.

'Love Spiral' is a wondrous slab of hating electronica. Layers of sounds gel beautifully and create a mesmerising soundscape.

Active Child's tune 'Johnny Belinda' gets the remix treatment from Dutch electronic music legend Matthew Dekay The producer has been responsible for one of Innervisions' biggest hits, 'Lost In A Moment', and also produced the groundbreaking EP 'Amity' including the summer hit 'Fangtango' on Maeve. With his remix for Active Child's track 'Johnny Belinda' Dekay once again proves his ability to turn an original track into his own piece of work. Melodic melancholic synth chords shape the body of MDK's remix approach and are set with a reserved bass line that fully unfolds its punch as the remix proceeds. But it certainly is the vocal that puts its mark on the track and Dekay manages to make the interaction between the vocals and soundscapes sound so easy. 

Active Child's EP 'Johnny Belinda Remixes' will be released April 30th, 2018 on Subtract Music.
