A project unveiled for the first time last summer, Solid Grooves' 'Raw Grooves' series welcomed the first-ever Various Artists project on sister label Solid Grooves Raw, and in the process introduced a slick selection of grooveheavy, stripped back yet powerful cuts from some of the label's core family members and closest friends.

Now back for its second installment, early-May sees label favourites Eddy M, Blackchild (ITA), and Ramin Rezaie joined by a wealth of leading names and rising talents as they welcome UK hotshot Latmun for his label debut, South Coast duo Prok | Fitch, who step out on sister label Raw for the first time following their huge single 'Indiance', recent Solid Grooves debutant Wheats, returning Manchester-based talent Kreature, and fast-rising London pairing, Antss and Ash-R.

Next up this May on Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records is UK based DJ and producer, Will Taylor, who makes his debut on the label with his brand new single, 'Paloma'. One of the biggest names to emerge from the UK in recent years, Will Taylor has proved his worth releasing on some of the biggest names in the scene including elrow, South Of Saturn, VIVa, Roush, NONSTOP and is now becoming a mainstay on the international club and festival circuit playing gigs at Amnesia Ibiza, We Are FSTVL, Studio 338, Tobacco Dock, Motion Bristol and Soho Garden Dubai. Will's tenacious work ethic and passion for creating captivating club tracks shines through in new single, 'Paloma' which oozes sophistication; bringing crisp and energetic drums, an infectious bassline, complex percussive rhythms, grooving low-end, exciting synth transitions and cleverly chopped vocals throughout. Next up on Kaluki this August, we are welcoming another label newcomer, this time in the form of Brighton based DJ and producer, Endor, who makes his debut on the imprint with his brand new, 'Rock The House' EP. In just a few years Endor has already made some seismic waves in the industry, cementing his image as a prolific DJ and producer. His innovative bootleg of Skream's 'In for The Kill' has propelled his explosive entry on to the scene, crystallising his international career that has seen him play at clubs & festivals all over the world. His releases have been signed to respected labels including Defected, Repopulate Mars, Universal, This Ain't Bristol, New State, Under The Radr and more, alongside securing his own radio show on Reprezent Radio. The club focused 'Rock The House' EP reflects Endor's signature sound, showcasing punchy kicks, percolating rhythms, extensive melodies, robust drums, hypnotic chopped vocals and wobbly bass; resulting in two killer tracks that were made for the dancefloor.

Blackchild (ITA) returns to Solid Grooves as the bubbling Italian serves up his latest single, ‘Hypin’.

As fresh and exciting names come, Blackchild (ITA) is right up there with the surging DJ, producer and label boss’ recent releases via the likes Hot Creations and his own LATEMORNING imprint only furthering his rapid ascent. 

Now an established member of the Solid Grooves family, touching down on the main imprint and sub-label Solid Grooves Raw seven times while joining the collective at the likes of ADE and Printworks, late May welcomes more signature dancefloor business on his return with the vibrant ‘Hypin’. 

Combining rolling drums and snaking low-ends with warping bass licks and trademark vocal samples, ‘Hypin’ sees the Italian deliver yet more heat on Solid Grooves as they continue to prove a perfect match.

Rising newcomer Jholeyson makes a stunning debut on Hot Creations with Discow, a fantastic two track release that draws inspiration from an eclectic range of musical genres.

The 12” begins with the title track Discow. A high-tempo house number, tinny hi hats merge with whip-like kicks, as an infectious vocal gives way to a pumping, four-to-the-floor drop. Plenty rounds off the release in a minimal, pulsing fashion. A squeaking, electronic bassline couples with soft bloops and subtle keys, as soft build ups lead into gently-changing crescendos.

Jholeyson is beginning to make real waves in the scene. Having produced standout releases for the likes of Posh Records, Harvibal and 1994 Music, it was in 2018 that the young upstart launched his own imprint: Sticker Music. Fast forward a year and the Discow EP marks another strong milestone in Jholeyson’s ever-flourishing career.

Hotly tipped Brit producer/DJ, Ben Sterling, returns to Eats Everything’s Edible imprint with a brace of funky belters for your ears!  Following up the epic ‘Dance Machine’ from earlier this year, Sterling continues to dispatch slick and modern dance floor tuneage for midnight ravers and sunrise dancers.

A coy acid line gurgles throughout ‘Danger’, but the track’s focus is firmly on the precision mechanical house beats and robotic vocal, its infectious swinging groove proving very infectious.  ‘Mind Control’ pursues a similar path, with Sterling again serving up a mischievous slice of wicked techy house business, flowing with funk and good vibes!

Ben Sterling has been casually dropping bombs for labels like Hot Creations, Repopulate Mars and Edible over the course of the last three years, and his production talents show no sign of letting up yet anytime soon.
