This time in the shape of 5 incredible remixes by some of electronic music’s most intriguing and brightest stars.

Lehar, Luca Bachetti, Patrice Baumel, Termoment and Lost & Found head honcho Guy J have each reinterpreted their favourite off Khen’s future classic debut.

‘Imaginal Cells’ has been repurposed by the label boss himself into a beautiful slice of melodic goodness. With trippy FX details and a serene breakdown, its yet another Guy J classic rework. 

Diynamic's Lehar offers his take on the Khen and Guy J collabo ‘Prism’, turning down the intensity of the original with a sophisticated touch, he leads the track to deeper waters with an infectious melody that marries the familiar underlying key elements of the original in perfect symbiosis.

The sonic voyage continues with Luca Bachetti’s groovish take on ‘Authentica’. Adding to the recognisable lead melody, he gives the track an almost cinematic and atmospheric treatment that leaves you longing for more.

Patrice Baumel, fresh from the success of his recent remix of Cubicolor, tackles ‘Land of Goshen’. Taking the track in a more driving and pumping direction with a nod to 90s classic Trance, this track will cause a stir in sets from dusk to dawn.

Closing the collection on a trippy vibe with hints of old school Acid and an uncanny detailed soundscape that will leave you in awe, is Termoment’s take on ‘One Day of Independence’. A beautiful and fitting finalé to this weighty package of reworks.

Originating from Berlin, now based in Singapore, Rodaq produces the kind of loopy, mesmerizing deep sounds we love. Loaded with lustrous synths and trippy, undulating rhythms, he delivers two new originals along with powerful remixes by Schlepp Geist, Uone and Yapacc.

“Pollock Hill” gives you that lost in a moment feeling. A haunting, fluid synth line and excited percussion is the centerpiece, both working in unison to evolve, twist and build interest throughout the track. Australia’s Uone takes us further into wonderland and gives this a deeper, hazy vibe. His interpretation kicks things into overdrive with the addition of dreamy guitar harmonies, lush piano chords, gorgeous operatic vocals and booming horn stabs that cut through the track and standout. Rounding out the remixes is fellow Berliner Yapacc who incorporates the original synths, but amplifies it with dramatic drums, muscular percussion and a punchy, melodic bass line.

“Phormosa” is a dreamy, intricate affair of synth heavy bass lines, complex melodies and tension building in all the right places. Schlepp Geist delivers a heaving version that fires up the energy with blurring melodies, relentless analog stabs and celestial synths that modulate and climax throughout the track. His keen sense of what makes a dance floor go wild is evident here - a real weapon!

Pollock Hill / Phormosa

The eighth release of Metrica is called "301". Argia has composed two different tracks but with the energy that is always present. Ruede Hagelstein and Intervalo have been in charge of the version with their particular vision. A new release with great pieces. 

"301" is the first track and the name of the release. A recognizable track in the Indie-Dance genre without forgetting the melodies always present in our releases. Argia presents this track with a very energetic drumbeat, a bass that keeps the groove constant, arpeggio that keeps you in constant tension and sophisticated melodies. 

Ruede Hagelstein's version doesn't forget the power of the original track, but it complements it with elements that lead you to have a constant expectation, an excellent remix that complements the original. 

The second track called "Kameleon" is more oriented to a Techno-Melodic style. The progression of the track is marked by its melody that tells a story over a line of percussions. Its main elements will make you remember and identify this track. 

Intervalo had the great idea to use the most remarkable elements of the track to take it to a more Indie-Dance terrain that complements perfectly with the rest of the release. Four tracks with differences between them, but very recognizable for our new release.
