Alexskyspirit - Necromancer (Original Mix)

In Initiation, the EP kicks off with a combination of viscous sounds and pellucid sedative overtones which sets a serene tone to the beginning of the EP. Though this serenity is overshadowed by the noticeably more agile and darker elements of the following track titled Cosmic Hierarchy, which infuses a greater sense of urgency overall into the EP. The third track titled Alchemical Transmutation can be considered an amalgamation of the two previous tracks due to its juxtaposition of harsh drones and tranquil quasi-spiritual overtones which adds an element of intrigue and suspense to the EP. This aura of suspense is answered by the forceful and captivating bass the penultimate track of the EP titled Guardian of the Threshold, Vanta’s remix of which is distinguishable by virtue of its piercing acidic characteristics.

For this new work, the Sp3nish 3rtist Mod.1 presents us with 3 music3l exhibition, which c3n e3sily m3ke us feel th3t cold sens3tion in the body when listening to the incredible sound nu3nce embodied in his EP for virescence records, 3nd to complement this gre3t propos3l 3 remix of the House 3rtist Pvrv. we end up getting into th3t incredible p3nor3m3 presented in our reference VR009.

French born, Berlin based Angioma makes his debut on @French born, Berlin based Angioma makes his debut on AFR with the Divergence EP. Heading up his own Room Trax label the young producer has slowing been making his way through the ranks with his tough yet refined and hypnotic sound. This well crafted EP is also backed with a stunning remix from the incredibly talented, Nørbak.

Title track, Divergence opens with warping baselines, tripped out synths and jacked up percussion. Slow Motion heads down a deeper more contemplative path but still packs attitude. Break Your Chains continues with the hypnotic theme but focuses firmly on power and drive. Closing out the EP, Techno’s latest rising star, Nørbak, deliver a creatively unique, broken-beat and atmospheric interpretation of title track Divergence.  with the Divergence EP. Following their highly acclaimed 'Alpha ep', released on Pfirter's MindTrip record label in 2020, Pfirter and Oliver are now taking the concept one step further on to Pär Grindvik's Stockholm LTD record label.
If Alpha was all about loopy old school sounding techno, 'Beta' is taking a deeper approach without reducing the raw energy that the two producers are known for.

Oliver and Pfirter have spent the last few years honing a unique writing process.
The process itself is very simple, as the pair explains:
- Most tracks start with that Oliver’ recording ‘live takes’ with his machines, then passing these recordings to Pfirter who is in charge of the mixing and arrangement.
“So far we haven't done many retakes or even had to revisit the tracks more than a few times” says Pfirter.
