In 2015, J. Maikel visited his first techno festival and since then he was immediately in love with this kind of music. After his first visit to the very well known event “Reaktor'' in Amsterdam, he decided to get into DJing so in 2018 he bought two turntables and a mixer and started learning the basic skills of DJing with vinyls by himself.

Now he is strongly inspired by old school sounds from the late 90’s & early 00”s, but two years ago he discovered the fast-paced hypnotic and groovy techno. Now he blends both of them, giving as result his unique track selection.

He his also co-owner of the platform Dailytechno with his friend Alloctone, where they upload a track per day, always trying to show up with amazing stuff! We can definitely say that there is a lot of hard work behind so you better go and check it!

Dublin - based producer Billy Spike Iland drops his debut EP on CommonSense Records with a variety of deep, atmospheric, mental, trippy and driving Techno under the “Access Automation” EP. Four original tracks that combine futuristic sci-fi elements dominate the sound design for an experimental journey. Each track has its particular sound suitable for different vibes and momentums, weapons for a diversity of contexts. To concrete this project, the Portuguese producer A Thousand Details created two interpretations of the track 'Mechanism', which can only be described as mental trippy bangers most suitable for dance floors. The balance of this EP shows the diversity and versatility between two artists for a release that will leave you wanting more.
We premiere the remix of the track 'Mechanism' by the artist A Thousand Details, a techno avalanche destroying everything that comes in its way. Powerful and dynamic, perfect for a warehouse ceremony.

Far away from sitting and waiting for better days to come, Close Encounters as a sub label has always been 30D’s way to gather artists aiming to explore the wider techno spectrum, combining freedom, rhythm and each artist’s particular vision of their sound. We’re now sharing with you the results of the Sixth Encounter, to be released the forthcoming 26th February 2021.
 
Hekum, Jiman, Omnia Vox and Téo Dréan: Four tracks. Four artists. Four ways to resume and to push forward what we may expect from techno in this yet uncertain year to come.
