We have invited Albert Chiovenda to give continuity to our series of releases in cassette and digital format, under this interesting series in which we previously published the Portugues CRAVO last February, On this occasion the Sydney native has worked for a total of 6 tracks that make up the 'A' side of this work taken from the future, entitled 'Extravagant Traveler' Composed of complex FM synthesis exercises, classical percussions and environments from another Galaxy, covering a wide spectrum of sound intentions, ranging from melancholic to sonorous violent .
Chiovenda has been doing a variety of serious, interesting and cutting edge work over the past few years, with major label releases and collaborations with artists like Stanislav Tolkachev.

In this second edition as we did in the first, we have decided to invite great artists to remix the original tracks on the 'B' side Border One, Viels, Inigo Kennedy, Divide and Alex Dolby are artists and friends that we deeply love and admire. And they have done a wonderful job that we are very excited about. Each of them has captured his personal approach to the original track obtaining incredible results.

We hope that the result of this release is totally to the liking of each one of the listeners, it has been prepared with much love and respect by all those involved for you.

The crystalline sound of Eloim is re-worked in this 3 tracks EP. 3 visions of cerebral techno which take us through different textures sometimes in the bed of a crystal river, with the Troma & Pers1’s remix - norman duo which already signed many elegant acid techno releases on Aquaregia. The aqueous quality of the sound can be find also in the Atomic Moog’s remix, which plays marvelously with the original elements and their metamorphic possibilities. Or other times in the power touch of b.mod which drills a tunnel in La Grande Montagna. 

Le son cristallin d’Eloim est ici retravaillé dans cet 3 titres, 3 visions d’une techno cérébrale qui nous emmène à travers différentes textures, tantôt dans le lit d’une rivière de cristal, avec le remix de Troma & PERS1 - duo normand qui a déjà composé de nombreuses tracks acid techno très élégantes chez Aquaregia. La qualité aqueuse du son peut aussi se déguster avec le remix d’Atomic Moog, qui joue merveilleusement avec les éléments originaux du morceau et leurs possibles métamorphiques. Finalement l’EP se termine avec la touche puissante de b.mod qui creuse un tunnel sous La Grande Montagna.

Uncage, the label curated by Marco Faraone, proudly presents the six-track journey, “The Overtones EP”, a collaboration between Marco Faraone and Yoav Nizri, a rising talent marking his second release on UNCAGE. Known for pushing hypnotic and textural techno, this release showcases their combined ability to craft deep, atmospheric cuts with relentless energy and precision.

“The Overtones” blends rolling percussion, pulsating low-end, and layered melodies, creating a hypnotic and driving experience designed for late-night immersion. “Ralaoci” leans into intricate percussion and evolving synth textures, balancing tension and release with a sleek underground edge.

“Other Expression” carries a warm, groove-driven flow, weaving basslines and subtle melodic layers into a sophisticated club piece. On “Organized Cut”, the duo explores percussive and groove-heavy rhythms, adding crisp textures for refined dance floor energy.

“Torin” layers atmospheric elements and evolving synth work over rolling percussion, building hypnotic tension throughout. Closing the EP, “Enhances” delivers crisp percussion, airy pads, and understated melodic drive, perfect for immersive late-night moments.

Tuscany-born and Barcelona-based, Marco Faraone has carved out a reputation as one of techno’s most respected names, with performances at Fabric, Panorama Bar, and DC10 and releases across leading labels such as Drumcode, Rekids, and Defected. His imprint UNCAGE has become a hub for forward-thinking sounds, with releases from Radio Slave, Mark Broom, Donato Dozzy, and new-wave talents like Anfisa Letyago.

Yoav Nizri, a promising newcomer, made his debut with his Elmot EP on UNCAGE and now takes a bold step forward with this second release alongside Marco. With raw energy and an ear for hypnotic textures, he continues to shape his identity as one of techno’s rising forces.

With “The Overtones EP,” Marco Faraone & Yoav Nizri deliver a cohesive and hypnotic statement, marking another confident step in both artists’ journeys and a powerful addition to the Uncage catalogue.
