Foon is an American Dj/producer based in Brooklyn. Coming from south Florida, he was raised by the local dance music scene. After coming to nyc to perfect his craft, he found his true musical love in the local techno community. With his good friend jahveri, they founded the techno dou cmnd:Z. Making waves locally, they played at legendary venues in Brooklyn, NY and released music on labels such as de-konstrukt. Since covid he’s been focusing on his solo career and recently started the eethr collective. Playing groovy and energetic tracks, Foon is a force to be reckoned with.

Irish born, Berlin based Millhouse has been bangin’ out the tunes for over 20 years, playing in venues across Europe alongside many of the world’s top DJ’s, continuously showing his musical dynamics in mixing and producing machine based Techno. He’s well-known and respected for his energetic ability to play the freshest Techno tracks with his love for solid base beats and driving basslines always making his sets highly entertaining.

Originally into the tougher edged Hard House scene, this talented maniac has been DJing since he was 16 years old, however, a lot changed for him musically in late 2002 after he was blown away by the skills of Dave Clarke. He feverishly started buying Techno records, going to all of Clarke’s gigs he could get to for hero worship and rapidly fell down the Techno rabbit hole. His Hard House fetish has had its day.

He eventually started producing Techno with a friend, tinkering around with Reason, but it soon become serious after hearing Diarmaid O’ Meara play at a gig where he met him and Luke Creed, they all got along from the get go and it became a pivotal moment in his life.

Soon after in 2013 he made the decision to move to Berlin to work closer with Diarmaid and the Gobsmacked Records label, eventually taking over as its manager, organising the artists, selecting the music and curating gigs with many of Techno’s biggest hitters.

Millhouse’s releases kicked off in 2010 collaborating with Luke Creed on Kamikaze Records and since then his music has appeared on immense labels including Gobsmacked, Gomboc, Variant and on our very own RIOT Radio Records charity V/A album with his track ‘Harsh Times’ which received an enormous amount of airplay from some of the biggest stars of the Techno world, Dave Clarke for one being a staunch advocate of his music.

This is one artist who, as time goes by, is becoming more comfortable in the studio than in his own skin, constantly learning and evolving as an innovator. And with a little push from another close friend, Patrick DSP, Millhouse’s productions have been taken to the next level, stratospheric even.

Affekt Recordings has its base in Frosinone, Italy and has been ran by Alex Dolby since 2012 culminating a passion for raw, hypnotic techno. The label's back catalogue of music has seen artists like Evod, Divide, Alex Bau, VSK, MTD, and Mental Resonance make contributions.

Affekt is celebrating 10 Years with a huge VA that has been reduced to this 16 track compilation sampler made of unreleased works and classic tracks from their archive featuring Jonas Kopp, Inigo Kennedy, Stanislav Tolkachev, Grindvik and more.

His first contacts with dishes were in the year 2000,
influenced by leading artists of the time such as Cristian Varela, Oscar Mulero, Ben Sims, Oliver Ho or Dylan Drazen from whom he learned by investing hours at the foot of the booth in those events in which he managed to be in front of her, he has more than 20 years of experience within the electronic scene, its oldest used labels to highlight are Tsunami, Warm up, Hardgroove, Meta, R&S, Blueprint among others, supporting and consuming music from more current labels and friends such as BSC Records, Hardtools, Ottar, Inducted waves, Mord or Genesa in the more industrial variant.
Linked to the underground scene in the southern area of ​​Madrid, he participates in multiple events with artists from his city in disciplines such as Techno, Hard Techno and other more experimental profiles, and it is common to find him at different private parties, clubs, gatherings, social events and collaborations for radio stations in your area, or on the Internet, spaces such as studios or stores where you collaborate in DJ set format on different online channels.
In past times, he also develops his skills in styles such as Deep Techno, Deep House or Tech House in Nightclubs in his area where for some time, he acquires a monthly residency or is eventually hired but always and as a rule, using those tracks in his suitcase. with a more Groovera trend away from the commercial.

From 2006 to the present, he delves into the musical study of percussion, music theory, audio chain, technique and production, attending different courses organized by art and culture associations in Madrid. He applies this new knowledge in works and productions that never see the light of day, but he does show it in his work as a DJ when mixing.
Starting in 2010, he investigated more automated reproduction methods such as controllers and digital mixing systems, as well as the different most current software, or systems such as time code vinyl, and began to make his own chains of parties such as the ' `ANALOG´´o are now the S.A.P Techno club, and some other associated projects that lasted less time.
To date and for some time now, their sets have always incorporated a third deck, with vinyl being their preferred format to give it a little more dynamism and go even deeper into the control of the beat and the art of mixing, without losing that groove tendency that characterizes him.
