EJA is the solo alias of one half of Duplicity, an Edinburgh based duo and podcast series. As Duplicity, EJA emerged onto the local Scottish scene in late 2019, playing at events around Edinburgh and Glasgow and quickly earning a residency spot at Edinburgh's grittiest, no holds barred event series and collective, Powerhouse.

Over 2020, EJA has refined his sound and general approach, focusing on deep, hypnotic, groovy and loopy elements, largely inspired by artists such as Rene Wise, Setaoc Mass, Yant, Marrøn and the HAYES collective.
Expect to hear a combination of these elements with a multi- layered mixing approach to take you on an ever-evolving, dance floor orientated, high-tempo groove session throughout!

This week we are joined by the Dutch emerging talent Lasse, formerly known as 'Esoteric'. Despite his short journey as an active artist, he is everything but new to the underground scene. After several years of discovering techno and being involved in the community, he started releasing some of his productions towards the end of last year’s summer. Since then he has been featured on several platforms, such as Duplicity and Kollektiv Synergie. Quite recently he self-released his second EP, ‘Tunnel Vision’, which he believes, really portrays his style and personal sound.
