Over the past few years, somewhat mysteriously, @Volster has gradually become one of the most noted figures of the Croatian electronic scene, leaving his signature through production, DJing, event organisation and running a label imprint: @secessionrec.

The main subculture Marko was positively exposed to in the 90’s was techno, a style he has been practising for almost two decades now. As he was performing within and outside the Croatian borders, Volster gradually started experimenting and developing his signature textured sound leading him to sing and publish his work across his own labels and others such as Edit Select, @Vakum-Records and @northallsenrecords to name a few. 

To this day, Volster has performed all across Europe ranging from clubs to festivals like Dimensions Festival and Modem Festival which brought him to his most notable appearance and debut performance at @berghain in September 2019.

Space Drag is the collection of sounds, textures and circumstances which give place to diverse thoughts and sensations, going from raw and crude momentums to more relaxed ones.
It intends to transmit one sensation at a moment while trying to relate a story at all times. Sometimes in a dim or tense shape, and others using hypnotism to achieve it.
Crude, broken and rugged soundscapes which take me from my first steps to what I am today. This is what Space Drag is composed of.

Nahuel Rodríguez, mejor conocido como "Mesh Convergence", es un productor español de música electrónica cuyo trabajo ha impactado significativamente en la escena techno. Actualmente reside entre Granada y Madrid, y aunque sus raíces están firmemente plantadas en el techno, sus exploraciones musicales se extienden a Electro, Breakbeats, Jungles, Drum & Bass e IDM, reflejando sus amplios intereses musicales y versatilidad.

El viaje de Nahuel en la música comenzó con un amor por Linkin Park y el metal en 2006, que eventualmente evolucionó hacia un interés en la música electrónica en 2010. Sin embargo, fue su reconexión con el techno en 2020 lo que realmente definió su actual dirección musical. Su sonido ha sido moldeado por varios productores de techno de la península ibérica, dando como resultado una mezcla única de estilos que lo distingue en la escena de la música electrónica.

Su música, producto de la emoción y la experimentación, ofrece una experiencia auditiva intensa y adictiva. Ha sido lanzada en prestigiosos sellos como Utopia, TMM, Sungate, Subsist, BAHN-, Signal, Arido, NYXII y Diffuse Reality, entre otros. Sus pistas han encontrado su camino en los sets de renombrados artistas como DVS1, Setaoc Mass, Fabio Florido, HD Substance, Pfirter, Adriana Lopez, Viels, Vincent Neumann y Blazej Malinowski, resonando en lugares icónicos como Berghain, Awakenings, Luna Park, Sisyphos, Fabrik y Tresor.

La música de Nahuel, que va desde el techno contundente hasta los breaks ricos en texturas, es una fusión de sonidos robóticos y orgánicos. Inspirándose en la ciencia ficción y el mundo material, su paleta sonora única integra todo, desde elementos naturales hasta sintetizadores de un futuro distópico. Esto da como resultado sets de DJ que transportan al público, ofreciéndoles un escape de su entorno.

Con varios lanzamientos próximos en sellos nacionales, Nahuel continúa empujando los límites de la música electrónica. Over the past few years, somewhat mysteriously, Volster has graduallybecome one of the most noted fresh figures of the Croatian electronic scene, leaving his signature through production, DJing, event organisation and, since recently, launching his own vinyl label, Out of Place.
The main subculture Marko was positively exposed to in the 90’s was techno, a style he has been practicing for almost two decades now. As he was performing within and outside the Croatian borders, Volster gradually started experimenting with his sound in the production process that led to signing his early releases with a few smaller foreign record labels. Frequent travelling around Europe and absorbing the music of foreign performers, such as Sandwell District, Mike Parker and Sleeparchive, significantly affected him and his relationship with the similar sound grew even stronger.
After launching Out of Place label, the only logical move was to start publishing his music, making his Nihilist EP label’s first release. What characterises Nihilist EP are harsh and cosmic tangles that vary from hypnotic techno to Detroit inspired electro, which guaranteed noted feedback from a few well-known artists. In addition, this release earned him the biggest recognition for the electronic music in Croatia, by winning the Klubska Scena award for Ambassador of the Year in the Vinyl of the Year category.
Parallel to the new musical chapter of his life, Volster launched TRAUM and Hipertenzija events in his hometown, bringing a new style of techno and club life, characteristic for the majority of Europe, to the local audience. Francois X, Amotik, DJ Deep, Antigone, Etapp Kyle, Paula Temple and Cassegrain are some of the few names that TRAUM hosted so far.
2018 saw a radical turn in his vision as establishing himself as an artist by launching his self-managed imprint, Secession. The first record entitled “The Process of Becoming” was released in December of 2018 featuring remixes from Swedish master of contemporary techno Anthony Linell and talented Berlin based duo Cassegrain. Second release is set for winter 2020.
To this day Volster has performed across the Europe ranging from clubs in Berlin and Budapest to festivals like Dimensions Festival and Modem Festival with his most notable appearance and debut performance in infamous club Berghain - Panorama Bar on September 2019.
