Japanese melodic techno artist IORI remixes Chinese artist Sun Dawei's track "Sun" as the next installment in Dawei's CTAFAD project. Whereas the original "Sun" is a more ambient techno track, IORI adds a syncopating beat to carry the melody. IORI's melodic style certainly shines through in this remix.

Dawei founded the label Shanshui Music in 2003, highlighting the amazing dance  music coming out of Asia. IORI is currently based in Tokyo, but spent his formative years as an artist in both New York & Europe, leading to his worldly and meditative sounds as an artist. He has consistently released spacey, atmospheric originals and remixes for proponent imprints like Phonica and Prologue since 2009. 

Both Dawei and IORI's respective sounds shine through on the "Sun" remix.

Following the launch of Terra Novae earlier this year with his ‘All Is Not Lost’ EP, which picked up support from Chris Liebing, Emmanuel ARTS, Lorenzo Raganzini and more, the Texas-based Chemtrailz returns with the next release on the label Churn of The Age.

Bringing another dose of his heady, crunching techno across the EP, ‘Solar Alignment’ begins with a strong 4/4 kick alongside foreboding pads and grinding, textured effects custom-built for dark, cavernous spaces. The titular ‘Churn of the Age’ follows with a scattered drum pattern, growling synths and a sizzling breakdown to make for a powerful, syncopated dancefloor number.
‘Take It All In’ combines shuffling percussion, vocal chops and wonky synthesis for a decidedly trippy jam, looking towards the late nights and early mornings. Entering a new era on Terra Novae, Chemtrailz has refined his productions on this EP, further instating the artist’s ability to create varied styles of techno.

Release BR130 is for the Spanish Dj/Producer AZYK. This 4-track EP is really a mix between different styles of Techno. It's a nice blend of raw, industrial, hard but also some Trance influences are hearable in the tracks. 

Bio:
Co-owner of the label and sessions of Darkblood Label, together with his partner L.D.U. AZYK begins its journey in the world of electronics in 2006. He forms the duo "Red Sense", a Trance influenced duo that's maintained in its productions.

In his next stage he moved to Madrid and participated in the sessions of Cabra Negra, Pirandello, Yasta, Moonrise and Moroder.
