Over two years since the last Vinyl release from Fixeer on Illegal Alien Records, now he is finally back home, in the meantime for the past couple years, he did some very important releases on labels like Dynamic Reflection, ANAOH, Mindtrip, Faut Section among others and always delivering incredible music in every single one of them. Now we are proud to present you his brand new EP called 'Yangtze' which includes 3 original tracks and also we count with two brilliant remixes from two great artists who also have been doing incredible works on very well know and important labels, for us it's an honor to have Insolate and Denis Rabe joining this project and make outstanding remixes for this release.

"In ancient Rome, Consuls held two strategic roles: exercising authority over all the public affairs of the city and accompanying the legions in their military campaigns.
!Lykos Records gave this role to Artist Laertes, born Gianluca Meloni. Ambassador of sound of Rome, Laertes has been one of the pioneers of the deeptechno genre. After establishing in Italy as producer, live performer and mastering engineer, he exported his aesthetics all around the world.
Titanomachia is the title of Laertes‘ new work inspired by Hesiod‘s Theogony. The artist tells through aggressive and groovy sounds one of the bloodiest wars in Greek mythology, Zeus leading the Olympian gods versus Chronos and the Titans.
Chaos throws us into the swirl of battle. The repetitive sound of the synth bass sequence alludes to the sound of spears broken on shields, while pads and strings charge the entire track with tension.
The narration continues in a daring succession of loops and hypnotic rhythms, with the second track The Immortal. Strident bleeps and incessant percussions and rhythmic patterns characterize the progressive crescendo.
The description of the battle changes with Worg, who proposes his version of Chaos. The story of the battle is entrusted to the evolution of lashing metallic effects that recall the lightning of the father of all Gods. Psyk closes the chronicle of the epic battle with the adaptation of The Immortal. 
The kick recalls war drums that galvanize the troops on battlefields. The artist evokes the heroic spirit with powerful and thunderous sounds.

We are enlarging our digital series with another album by meticulous italian producer Evod. Ten virtual cuts of scientific bleepy abstract techno: Intrincated, complex, detailed, carefully crafted soundwise. A voyage to the future via dissonant harmonies and sound experiments, but yet danceable or playable by proper dj’s out there.

This body of work has been conceived to be listened to as a whole, to get into a time travel mood that brings you out of the currently absurd panorama.

About the tracks:

Cavita sounds like a sonar bleep sent outer space, repetitive and linear.
Dimensionamenti : elastic and liquid, still preserving the hypnosis via repetition.
Sfoghi D’Aria follows similar parameters, bleepy spiced grooves with a simple rhythmic approach.
Portate D’anima works with spaces and sound layers bringing the FX work a step beyond.
Forma Transitoria returns to bleep galore and liquidness.
Cera perduta is an alien march over a solid kick.
Cassa d’anima softens the approach, still keeping the tension that floats all over this album.
Granuli brings us to the best Detroit / Warp days of the early nineties with a precious 808 groove.
Zona Massiva is like the sound of filters making music, again liquid and elastic.
Forma Permanente is the last bullet, saying goodbye in a classic timeless techno vibe.

Glad to have such a talented person on board. There is still hope in this semi destroyed musical world.

[BIO]:
Seiichiro Itoyama is a producer from Japan, currently based in Berlin. Initially diving into electronic music production as a means of personal meditation, this has become the foundation of his process - a disciplined, uncompromising focus on inducing an utterly present and hypnotic state of mind through sound. All the above, as well as a strong desire to distinguish his sound has led him to consciously eschew using software / hardware / modular synths as primary sound sources. With a deep interest in film, he began to sample sounds from films. In November 2020, his album SUBSTRATA EP was released through the Polish label Unknown Timeline.
