My track on the Amniote x Ute Fundraiser Compilation. 
All the proceeds will be donated to The Red Van: a volunteer-run NGO working with harm reduction and human rights for street based sex workers in Copenhagen.

"Sidewinder" is my reptilian alias for Mama Snake's label, Amniote Editions. All artists are invited to create their own reptilian alter ego for the project. My last release there was the "Ripple Effect" EP in 2019. I first met her in Autumn 2018 in Copenhagen to play at Jolene, as well as attend in-person sessions for the mastering+lacquer cut for the record. We mastered with Joel at Six Bit Deep and cut the lacquer with Hari (HVAD) at Kommunal Dubplate. Proper stuff. Few weeks later we shared the lineup on Sustain Release Festival in NYC, it was all a blast. 

I had the pleasure to first meet the Ute crew in Spring 2019, playing their club night at Blå in Oslo. Already had a good feeling when they picked me up from the airport and were playing Global Communication while driving through misty evergreen trees. Oslo freakishly reminded me a lot of my hometown of Seattle, just a bit less mountainous and hilly. That summer, we shared a lineup in Säule Berghain and at the end of season I was invited to play at one of their forest parties (bless) alongside their residents and Alpha Tracks - it was a really fun run! :~)

In March 2023, GORE erupted onto the global techno scene as the vanguard release of BRÄLLE's Brooklyn-based imprint, Adversarial Machines. The label was founded on firm themes of tension, heartache and collaboration, with each track intended from its inception to be paired with a remixer or an "Adversary".

AM101 is the first incarnation of this concept, with the highly formidable adversaries of Trismus, Robert Hoff, Lidvall, Jason Patrick, and BØHM.

We are very happy to present you our 45th release with Quelza « Defected Program ».
« Defected Program » 3 original tracks and 2 remix provided by Räar and DJ Boss with distinct universes, starts on « Aragaran » which is elaborated on a syncopathic rhythmic base, with cut and sucked percussions, an apocalyptic and spacious landscape and an evolution reminiscent of a martial march.
« Asaego » continues on a rhythm that goes straight to the body, interspersed with non-conforming and compact rhymes that shift the attention from the main rhyme to its abstract construction in the background.
To finish this trio with « Hertale », slower, heavier, made of sharp, kinematic
and organic percussions that slowly evolves towards an acceleration halfway through and relaxes on an explosion of sounds to bring the final phase.
First guest invited is Raär who decided to unify « Asaego » and « Hertale » to create a merger with « Hertago ». An intense apocalyptic journey of 7P47 minutes, with heavy rhythms and a merciless epic atmosphere.
Last track of this EP, with the legendary DJ boss, who chose « Asaego » as a playground with dancefloor break sounds specific to his style, a complex rhytmic evolution wavering between techno and idm.
