Dj y productor madrileño que lleva dos décadas aportando al panorama Techno nacional. Sus sets han sonado en multitud de eventos, raves, fiestas privadas, festivales y clubs de primer nivel, compartiendo cabina con grandes nombres de la escena nacional e internacional.
Gran amante del vinilo, formato en el que plasma su habilidad y pasión a la hora de realizar sus sets, se caracteriza por el manejo de los tres platos, una técnica explosiva y rapidez de movimientos, llegando a incluir cajas de ritmo y sintetizadores.
Especialista en el Sci-Fi y Dark, desarrolla sesiones donde cultiva todas las ramas del Techno, llegando a pasar por géneros como electro, industrial y experimental.

On our 19th instalment of the series, we welcome an Amsterdam based young Dj/producer, CARDO.

As a kid he saw his father spinning records all the time and these experiences with music had a great influence on his life. This ultimately became his inspiration for becoming an artist himself and made him turn this passion into solid ambitions.
+
CARDO’s sound tends more to the deeper and abstract side of techno. He uses this sound to build up tension by subtly increasing the intensity of the atmosphere in his sets.
He already delivered his sound in multiple clubs as Paradiso, Panama and the Spanish club, Zeppelin.

Next to playing dj-sets, CARDO also started to focus on producing and putting together a live set. Therefore he recently started his own label COMPLOT and his productions are already supported by Dutch masters ROD and Sterac.

Following their highly acclaimed 'Alpha ep', released on Pfirter's MindTrip record label in 2020, Pfirter and Oliver are now taking the concept one step further on to Pär Grindvik's Stockholm LTD record label.
If Alpha was all about loopy old school sounding techno, 'Beta' is taking a deeper approach without reducing the raw energy that the two producers are known for.

Oliver and Pfirter have spent the last few years honing a unique writing process.
The process itself is very simple, as the pair explains:
- Most tracks start with that Oliver’ recording ‘live takes’ with his machines, then passing these recordings to Pfirter who is in charge of the mixing and arrangement.
“So far we haven't done many retakes or even had to revisit the tracks more than a few times” says Pfirter.
