Turning the Japanese concept of ichi-go ichi-e – the fleeting, unrepeatable encounter – on its head, Makaton reshapes impermanence into recurrence, fragility into permanence.

/every.moment<repeat> does not simply capture this paradox, it embodies it. 
Each track opens a doorway to déjà vu, to the familiar transformed, tempting you with the possibility of endless return, where memory and presence collapse into one.

Dark, hypnotic and uncompromising, this is more than an album. 
It is a statement of intent: to fracture time, lure you astray, and prove that repetition can be revelation.

Premiere: Rea K, WM - Song of Spirits (Original Mix)

Ukraine is a place close to my heart. Many years ago in my other world as a tech person I worked with an amazing developer Dmitry from Zhytomyr. We spoke often and I wondered what Ukraine was like but never visited. Over the next 20 years I worked with a bunch of amazing Ukrainians and of course discovered the incredible techno talent from Ukraine. I was working with a Ukrainian team when the war kicked off and tried to do anything I could to support including donations to get incubators in hospitals and more.

As the past few years unfolded not a day goes by where I want an end to this meaningless conflict. It accompanies me daily.

When I visited https://k41community.fund/en/ in October with the amazing Mike Konstantinidis it was a hugely emotional moment. I don't play too often nowadays but the experience was magic for me. It reminded me of how much techno means to me on a personal level but also how it can build incredible bridges around the world.

At some point I'll stitch together some video footage I shot whilst there. But this is a (bit scrappy) DJ mix that is inspired by the set I played at K41 on 25th October 2025.

Journey to Kyiv

The term annex typically describes a structure joined to a main building, offering extra space or function. In this spirit, Tresor Records revives the ANNEX series with a new end-of-year collection that serves as an extension of the label and club’s output, adding to the creative life that has unfolded within Köpenicker Str. 70 over the past years.

Since the club moved in 2007, the Kraftwerk complex has been repurposed from its original use as a power station to fulfil multiple functions that bring people together to collaborate and congregate: Office, venue, club, exhibition space, and home to the Berlin Atonal festival, the Tresor Foundation, and the Academy of Subcultural Understanding. With the arrival of the Hard Wax record shop in 2023, the building now offers another way for the like-minded to come together and to share ideas in a common space.

ANNEX echoes the many roles of the building by fostering introduction, connection, and creation: all of the music within was created by individuals directly linked to Tresor: from club staff and residents to Hard Wax employees and long-time friends.

Across 28 tracks, the compilation unites artists from various backgrounds and generations, some collaborating for the first time, creating a moment in motion as Tresor heads into a new year.
