Thomas Hessler is part of a promising new generation of Techno producers & DJs. Born and raised in East Germany, Hessler‘s inspirations are deeply rooted in his former home city of Berlin. Growing up during the time of the wall‘s fall and the resulting changes for Germany itself, his approach to production intends to reflect feelings of change. Within a short time Hessler‘s DJ sets have already made their mark at Berghain and various venues all over Europe. Returning again to the theme of surprise, he keeps dancers on their toes, leading them through atmospheric and intense journeys of techno and its history. Since his first record in 2012, Hessler has worked tirelessly to develop his craft and prove what he stands for as an artist. His dark, driven techno and deep, atmospheric electronica, informed by classic Detroit and Berlin sounds yet also exploring more experimental boundaries. His debut on Marcel Fengler’s IMF was the logical next step and his Perception EP gained deserved recognition from a wealth of contemporary DJs, while his contribution to IMF 004‘s various artists EP won praise from Resident Advisor as a ‚psychedelically epic‘ strain of techno. The way Thomas Hessler comprehends our fast-paced world is nostalgic but still with a glimmer of hope for the future. Always preferring quality over quantity in his productions, patience and perfectionism are two qualities he prizes over all else.

The results obtained from a frequencies precise study and analysis, are four dedicated key tools to be played and mixed in consonance with other textures to carefully develop the hypnosis process through the different stages needed to have the mind of the listeners under control.
