This was recorded around 2004 or 2005 when I was working on vocals for my album IT'S A GAME, at Mark Greenberg's garage studio in Chicago where we did some of the initial tracks. The song is called "Good to Know" and it came out fine on the record, I swear! But somehow for awhile I could not get that first note accomplished, and Rian Murphy and Mark Greenberg were NOT gonna let me get away with it without some commentary LOL!!! They are such funny guys, and so much fun to work with. Love 'em both to bits. <3

Gift of the Flu

The result of staying up all night learning how to use Tabletop, a wonderful modular music creation suite for iPad (made by Retronyms if you're googling). I was basically just filling up every block with variations so I could learn how the song-sequencer works. It's AMAZING. The app I mean. This isn't really a song for me, but at least I got myself well accustomed to how their system works! Sooo much fun.
