Don't Bring Me Roses

Lots to be said but let's keep it simple. Edlene started singing in church and studied music throughout her teen and adult years. She ventured out singing throughout Europe, and the U.S. Her musical gift has lead her to sing with wedding bands, cover bands, top clubs such as BB Kings in NYC, singing background for several reknown recording artists and doing jingle work for t.v. and radio commercials. Edlene has worked with quite a few bands throughout her career. One particular one she recorded a blues cd with called "Grease Up Yout Strut" with The F&G Band featuring Edlene Hart. All these years Edlene has been writing and producing behind the scenes. Excercising her keyboard skills she teamed up with Robert Meeks an excellent keyboardist and producer from Long Island; as well as the instrumental producer Big John from Y.O. Edlene is ready to compile all of her songs from the 80's to now and finally release it to the world. Her soulful style remains to be the core of whatever genre she performs. Her vocal stregnth and soultry whispers is a powerful dynamic musically. Many call her Edlene...Eddy...Ms. Hart..Deevah...but mostly Chocolate Thunder. Not only can her voice tremble the walls of a huge auditorium her energy and hip movement can tear the walls down. Check out Edlene's videos on YouTube!
