Requirements met:

1. tempo is 232, although the phrases are made into 4 8 bar loops each, so I guess that counts as 232 in 1/4 time?
2. A few trump vocals thrown in for amusement. 
3. Contains many orchestral elements. ( violin, cello, double bass, flute, oboe)
4. Uses the Phrygian mode in a couple of major sections.
5. 23 random percs.

This isn't a serious piece, but it's the first I've completed in a long dang time.

It was spurred by EDMPN's Producer Wars Challenge. The criteria were:
-Tempo of 232 BPM
-Exotic scale
-Trump sample must be used
-Use 12 random percussion samples
-Must include an orchestral element

So that's what I did this week. Chaotic, yes. But hopefully I can now clear the block that has been plaguing me for the last year and a half.

Each week, music producers from all over the globe compete to create the coolest, the weirdest, or simply the craziest tracks. Have fun, and try new things!

How it Works:

Members vote on the weekends starting on Friday, and they submit their ideas for song criteria. Any thing goes, as long as it helps you, or others learn new ideas and techniques. Be creative, and you can even include items that relate to our current culture and events. Please don't be negative to others and try to be supportive, even if they have conflicting opinions to your own. 

The songs we make have to contain whatever 3 criteria that were selected for that week's battle. 

On Mondays, the top five items that were selected, then become the guidelines or elements which we all work into our tracks. Try and be creative, open minded and above all, don't be afraid to join in if the challenges seem difficult! 

Then, every Friday, we get together on Facebook, and discuss each others submissions, try to give feedback to as many members as you can, after all, this is a fun way for us all to learn! 

We then choose 3 tracks that we feel is the best in these categories:

1. Best use of weekly elements (Voted by participants & staff)
2. Staff Pick (Voted by Admins/staff only)

And finally, once the 2 weekly champs have been crowned in the arena, we all rinse and repeat, and start voting for the next weeks criteria!
