In celebration of reaching 1000 likes on Facebook, we promptly called upon a Dutch duo that are really beginning to makes some waves in the techno ocean. Going by the name of Colefields - a collaborative, experimental techno project signed to King’s Castle Agency and formed by Brad Coleman and Ray Fields - these guys have recently been picking up the pace in their collaborative careers, not to mention individually. The past two years, Brad has had a particularly successful pair of releases on Radio Kobayashi Records and Next Phase Records, Ray has graced the decks at Draaimolen Festival, and the two have come together as Colefields at Kindergarten Outdoor Festival in Holland. That’s just the start however, as both Brad and Ray have an individual 4-track EP release planned for the new year on The Tech Lab and Turks and Underdog respectively, providing a promising and exciting 2015 ahead for the pair.  

Having already released two absolute belters as Colefields, with a third one in store for the not-so-distant future, they have compiled this mix for us to provide a sonic explanation of what they are all about. Cooking up a brilliant batch of bubbling techno and house belters to warm you for the winter, accompanied with a pinch of unreleased material and considerable amounts of bass throughout, call this your aperitif for a night out on the town and don’t be embarrassed if you feel the urge to come back for seconds.
