'Assorto nei silenzi
come un'erma collina,
lontano dai trambusti
urbani e dai suburbi;
ogni affanno è vaniloquio.
Il calore del meriggio 
arraffa le erte ripide
come l'onda cerula, arrembata,
s'appiglia ai massi del promontorio
che sporge nel mare.
Fra gli oleandri fiorisce
il richiamo della quiete
a rievocare l'ode all'aurora
delle allodole.
Odo un trepestio di fronde,
lo scricchiolare del terreno
che sereno era poc'anzi.
Rintano tra i mandorli e i ciliegi 
come un uccellino intimidito
per sfuggire alla mira
del vespro cacciatore.
Il bosco si fa lugubre e fosco

War Of Courage

An unexpected call over an unintended situation leads to an unnecessary and unjust confinement. Whisked away to serve time in an undisclosed location; an unfit environment for any human soul. Trapped! And the only consolation is from loved ones bringing respite and a glimmer of hope. One's mind is tossed between despair, loneliness, searching for answers when there are none. Some days seem bright when occupied with distracting thoughts, in the end only to fall into a lull with an expressionless gaze, knowing that another day of confinement is on the horizon.

Yet another Cover of one of my Influencers over the years - Todd Rundgren. His Song "Heavy Metal Kids" is a caustic recording with lots of Guitar work and great lyrics. It has a timeless message and can be related to by any generation - especially the 'Rebel' with or without a cause!!! I attempted to duplicate the original with a combination of his In-house Recording on his "Todd" Album and his live performances with my version added in there. Edoardo Gastaldi, class 1998, is an Award-nominated Modern Classical and Post-Classical Music Composer based in Venice, Italy.
After several years of music studies, which provided him with formal training ranging from Classical piano to music theory, in the summer of 2021, he started publishing his compositions and productions.
The influence of 17th-19th century pianists and his passion for experimentation led his music to become an ever-evolving equilibrium among Modern Classical, Ambient, and Post-Rock Music.
The gloomy, distant harmonic sound layers are often held together and brightened by leading instruments such as the piano and guitars.

His creations are inspired by the sounds of contemporary artists such as Johan Söderqvist, Hammock, Tony Anderson, Leonard Petersen, Atli Örvarsson, Stephen Porter, Ronit Kirchman, Sigur Rós and Nils Frahm.
