Just a quick mess around with my new Moog Matriarch. Enjoy random sounds! 

Future me update: I was never really satisfied with how this demo turned out, and I've been trying to fix it ever since. The problem was, I couldn't get the sound right. So finally after 2 years, I came back to this and just made it sound better. It's till not there, but it's there enough. To those who've heard the original, hope this is a nice upgrade, and to those who are hearing it for the first time, I hope you enjoy it!

Melodic Elements 01 - Matriarch

Each and every war in modern times is a ridiculous tool of the past and a failure of communication. All that unnecessary loss of human life (on both sides), the destruction of nature, animals, culture, resources… 
In 2022? I mean what the f-ing hell. 

If alien lifeforms existed and they ever saw this clown-show, they would not even consider helping us. The whole world must unite and fight against climate change, covid, resource scarcity, diseases, world hunger… and not against ourselves, damn it.

Watching a peaceful country being invaded & destroyed and unarmed civilians brutally murdered made me create this dark atmospheric track. I tried to channel the last 3 months of this senseless war into this, all the pain and defiance of the civilians as well as the absolut bravery and even a touch of the fantastic humor of the Ukrainian army. 

I hope this track doesn´t offend anyone, it is intended to pay tribute and to help at least a little to motivate those brave Ukrainians. 

We stand with you. Slava Ukraini!

On December 11, 1980 Eliane Radigue performed live on KPFA. Her full performance is included here, remastered, on two compact discs. Upon hearing these performances for the first time in many years Radigue declared them to be the best versions she'd ever heard.
