Hello….. It’s snowing now. I recorded this song in a snowstorm the other day… inside of course. I was working on a folk song. Fingerpicking and traditional lyrics, and as what sometimes happens, I really wasn’t really feeling it. So I cranked things up a bit and here we go. I’ll be 70 years old in a few months, which seems like some sort of milestone. (Better than a tombstone) I started listening to music as a young teenager in the 60’s, when my friend Joe turned me on to a lot of great music, most notably, the Woodstock Album. He’s dead now. I never played an instrument or sung until the late 80’s when plucked my first guitar in Germany. Within the last 15 years, I have been learning about and playing music. (Now’s my chance.) Ha. Merry Christmas Folks!!  The Christmas season brings with it many different emotions and expressions. Pure joy and excitement, laughter and fun.. each moment has a role as people gather and celebrate. Hi. I'm Ed. First off, thanks for listening. 

You might notice a link below to a blog site John Eagle and I started to add a new dimension to the stories we tell. 

Once I played in a band that had two Elvises (Elvi) and adopted the pseudonym edro as a cover.  

Mostly it is me playing guitar, keyboards, mandolin, and whatever else makes sense for a song. Most of the songs are original with a few live. The originals are written and performed by edro. I have been fortunate lately to be involved with some collaborations with some real fine folks.

The intro was written when I first joined SoundCloud. While I collaborate with many fine folks, John Eagle and I have written hundreds of songs together. We are working pretty hard writing good songs these days.
