When the Light in our Galaxy is disappearing, a young filmmaker is asked to record the last thoughts of humanity before it is lost. Let there be Light tells the story of the last moments of mankind in a documentary style. The whole film plays out as a “message in the bottle” to the Universe. It is the last attempt for human beings to be remembered in this world. The film explores Light as an important character often forgotten in our lives but it also deals with the essence of the humanity.

I wrote this piece after a 3 month writers block during a very hard time in my life. After the piece was written, It was as though all the horrible things that had been happening didn't matter anymore. In such a way that i could see the hope and inspiration in every person i came across.
