Navigare Audio is longing for spring, hiking barefoot in nature and camping in the forest. But while we're still only dreaming we can endure a little bit more with a new chapter of the podcast coming in. We've been keeping track of this guy for a while now and got impressed with both his own productions as well as mixtapes on various platforms. Nils Edte from Germany with his own imprint Predawn Records is surely an artist we'll continue to follow carefully in the times to come.

DSS 095 comes from the German town of Stuttgart. Nils Edte has developed a rather recognisable sound when it comes to his productions. Blending deep, organic and ambient sounds to create hypnotic and atmospherical tracks.
Together with Laima Adelaide and Tama, he runs Predawn Records. A perfect platform to promote and develop his vision on electronic music even further.

For the latest Delayed with…, Stuttgart’s Nils Edte delivers a sharp, atmospheric mix that underscores his approach to ambient techno. A co-founder of Predawn Records alongside Laima Adelaide and Tama, Nils has built a reputation for music that feels alive, balancing depth and organic textures with striking precision. His talents stretch beyond the decks. Nils and the rest of Predawn crew are active in Stuttgart’s scene, organizing events across the city. On November 29, they’ll host a label night at White Noise, featuring the phenomenal duo Artefakt alongside other artists, all delivering live performances.

In this mix, Nils builds a world where dense, shadowy rhythms meet unpredictable grooves, setting an intense yet fluid tone. Amidst the weighty industrial beats, he weaves in brighter, uplifting electro moments that offer brief glimpses of light. But as the mood shifts, the mix circles back to its off-kilter, moody beginnings, closing the journey on a reflective, enigmatic note.

Causa, the latest release from Stuttgart-based label PREDAWN Records, presents a compelling blend of classic techno textures, intricate rhythms, and experimental soundscapes. The EP delves into the natural principles of motion, force, and matter.
The tracks offer a unique exploration of organic forms: “Continuation” exemplifies motion with its almost melodic texture and well-defined rhythms. “Äthenae” represents matter, characterized by intricate rhythms and sophisticated sound design. The minimalist and focused track “Vis” embodies force within the framework. Pianeti’s reinterpretation of “Vis” serves as the perfect counterbalance to the original, featuring more complex rhythms and richer textures that beautifully complete the essence of the EP.

Causa, the latest EP from Stuttgart-based Predawn Records, and label co-founder Nils Edte, explores motion, force, and matter. The EP is available for pre-order in digital and vinyl formats, with shipping and release on 7th April.

Continuatio, living up to its name, embodies motion through constant evolution. A soft, pulse-like kick drum initiates the track, joined by hypnotic sirens that persist throughout. These sirens serve as a consistent guide, a recurring hook to which the track always returns.

Nils Edte arranges familiar and alien-like elements, crafting a distinct thematic atmosphere. The track transitions to its conclusion, with a deep, groove-laden baseline that brings the journey to a satisfying close.

Revelation of Sounds is pleased to present Nils Edte, an artist based in Stuttgart. Driven by his passion for music, he has evolved in the hypnotic ambient techno scene. His deep, organic and atmospherical sound identity was inspired by the classic genres and nature ambience and textures.
As a huge supporter of the local culture scene, he also engages in different kinds of artistic creations and especially the connections between the different Arts. 
Together with Laima Adelaide and Tama he is part of the Stuttgart based label Predawn Records.
