A little demonstration using only INSTRUō Cš-L and Neóni as sources.
Bassline sequenced using Ableton Melodic Probability; Cš-L Triangle-core VCO stepped-square into Belgrad with Delta-V envelopes. PWM from øchd.
Lead synth sequenced with USTA: Neóni switching between synced and unsynced TZFM using Cš-L saw-core VCO as modulator, with linear FM from øchd providing vibrato to the Cš-L. Neóni wavefolder being modulated by øchd. Envelope from Quadrax; I-ō47 filter and Döepfer VCA; passed through Beads (clocked, sunny tape) with smooth random modulation to reverb level.
Beats: RolandCloud TR-808  performed on Ableton Push2.

Main voice is the Sofia Main out with both elements influencing the waveform, a heavy dose of modulation from Zadar and Batumi; and then passed into Zagrzeb to create a large stereo image for the pad. Amp envelopes from Klavis Quadigy into Intellijel VCAs. Granular effects with Arturia Efx Fragments.
Secondary voice is Sofia Elements B through Belgrad with clocked Zadar envelopes into the cutoff.
Reverb is Valhalla SuperMassive.

20221031 A First Experience With Sofia

A study using various Frap Tools modules, centred around the Brenso Analog Through-Zero FM complex oscillator.
The sequence is an 8-stage, 10-step USTA sequence leveraging pitch probability.
Brenso is set with green VCO providing thru-zero modulation to the yellow VCO, with the Final out being mixed with white noise from Sapèl with Happy Nerding Dual XFade into an LPG channel of Rabid Elephant NaturalGate.
The primary V/Oct input on Brenso is passed through Falistri slew limiter(blue) from USTA pitch CV sequence.
Extensive modulation:
- Sapèl being clocked from USTA's gates, stepped random to Natural Gate envelope length and Brenso ModBus depth;
- Sapèl smooth random to Brenso Yellow VCO FM depth (linear);
- Sapèl n+1 to Brenso Green VCO pitch (added to V/Oct input arp, USTA/Falistri); and NaturalGate level CV;
- Sapèl 2n controlling crossfade CV of Dual XFade, adding more white noise with high voltage;
- Falistri Yellow channel is being triggered on the first stage of USTA, via second Gate output, and is passing an envelope to Brenso Symmetry and Ring Modulator offset;
- Falistri Green channel is looping and passing LFO CV to Brenso wavefolder amount.

20240505 Morning Fusion

While experimenting with Odessa and Zadar, I came up with this.
Once the sound started to evolve in a certain direction, it started to become inspired by "Crisis of Representation 4", by Gábor Lázár - which still continues to blow my mind every time I hear it.
The only other modules I am using are: Frap Tools USTA for probability-driven gates; Korgasmatron II as a stereo high pass filter - to remove some of the fundamental wave; Instruō Tš-L as a modulator for the linear FM into Odessa; and an Intellijel QuadVCA.
Zadar is configured as an A-B link, with channel A driving the two QuadVCA channels on the output, and the B channel driving Odessa's Tilt. Both are set to a very warped dual wave, allowing the "pumping hold" effect, similar to Gábor's recording.

A first run on Frap Tools Brenso Complex Oscillator.

Low pitch: green oscillator saw going into Instruō I-ō47 low pass filter, into CGM VCA with Falistri AR envelopes on cutoff and VCA.
High Pitch: Yellow oscillator with extensive wavefolding, shaping and FM from green oscillator. Modulation from Batumi, Envelope from Klavis Quadigy ADSR envelope into LXd low pass gate.
Effects from Lexicon MPX550 reverb, and Eventide TimeFactor delay.

20200728 Frap Tools Brenso - First Workout

My Bifold arrived to complete my Intellijel Complex Oscillator, and join my Brenso and Cš-L!

So now I have a perfect Intellijel chain - Dixie2+, Rubicon2 and Bifold to make up a complete analog Complex Oscillator arrangement; with KorgasmatronII filter, Quadrax for envelopes and modulation, two LPG 1U low pass gates, and a Quad VCA. 

Here is a demonstration that produces a three-part piece:
For this demonstration, I used a sequence from Frap Tools USTA...
-not my Intellijel performance set (Planar2+Tetê+Tetrapad)... my bad.
:-(
but, it's a good demonstration of the Complex Oscillator package Intellijel has built, particularly Bifold and those wicked LPGs!
The patch consists of:
Dixie2+ zigzag wave into the Serial (Serge) wavefolder and an LPG on the right;
and Rubicon's warp output going to the Parallel (Buchla) wavefolder to the left. 
I also have Dixie2+ feeding the TZFM input of Rubicon2.
While those two trade-off alternating gates to the LPGs, I am sending additional trigger patterns to Quadrax, KorgasmatronII and a Quad VCA channel to send through the centre bass voice - which is the Rubicon2 Sub2 output.
The wavefolders are modulated with Quadrax Vascillators for variation.
Throughout the piece, I am manually adding through-zero FM to the Rubicon from Dixie via the Index and adjusting the base FOLD on the wavefolders to shift the intensity and add movement.

My main instrument is a Eurorack Modular synthesizer comprised of approximately 70 modules. My favourites include modules from Frap Tools Instruō, Intellijel, Rossum electro-music and Industrial Music Electronics. I use a 16-channel Line converter from nw2s to get modular signals into my DAW.
My main polysynth is a Sequential Prophet Rev2.
Production tools are Ableton Live and Push 2, with Universal Audio and Focusrite AD converters;  Eventide, and Lexicon hardware; and plugins from Valhalla DSP, Plugin Alliance, Eventide, Softube, Arturia and Roland.
I also compose with electric guitars and basses, Toontrack Superior Drummer, and various Brazilian samba percussion.
