Underground Zone

I've had this idea for a good while now, I always thought Metropolis Zone reminded me of early Prince, specifically the 1999 album. So I decided to recreate this classic in a style akin to that, using the LM-1 Rim to bring out the groove in the percussion some more. Thanks to Tony for lending some of his electric guitar for this one, I thought it was the right tone for the B section of this track.

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 - Metropolis Zone (80's Remix)

For some reason, when thinking of a genre to remix 'Final Zone' it was a blend of New Wave and 'Anime Final Fight' kinda music. I wasn't too interested in making another remix for the normal Boss Theme so I decided to blend that theme into here as both themes are very short compare to others in the soundtrack

This track is a direct follow-up to "Transcendence." Like the latter, this track is a beat-driven tech-house track that keeps things simple and punchy. The song is repetitive and hypnotic, but this is intentional. It's tech after all. The second half of this track features a prominent "squelching" bassline.
