History teaches us that on May 5 1877, Crazy Horse, the famous Sioux chief, led his people in surrender to the US government at Fort Robinson, after two years of defeating US forces and defying their demands to go to the reservation. When asked mockingly where all his people and lands where, he replied, pointing to the east, "My land is where our dead lie buried".
