This it the fifth edition of my mixtape series. Made for the ones who enjoy old school house music. I have been a fan of this music since I started listening to house, so I wanted to make this as a tribute to the foundation of the music we hear today. Played tracks from some of the greats such as Kerri Chandler and Omar S.

we finally open our podcast series, aimed to unearth and give exposure to our local artists and other talented fellow DJ's, and deliver cutting edge studio sets that will make your days more pleasant... hopefully they'll make you think about what you listen and - as Rossko says - dance with your ears :) 

Rossko is one of the most interesting east London DJ's and you're very likely to have already heard him either at his own infamous Cerca Trova basement party, or spinning the decks at Fuse on a sunday afternoon. We love his clever approach to underground dance music and for this podcast we asked him to fully express his feelings, digging in the deepest corners of his record bags, without boundaries. Now, let the music do the talking...

Our resident Rossko steps up for our 35th Podcast, releasing two hours from his set at our special Day & Night Summer Rave: LEVEL at Studio 338, London.

Here are a few words from our FUSE-head about his mix:

"Hi, this is Rossko. Here’s is a 2 hours live from Studio 338’s terrace, recorded during FUSE presents LEVEL back in July. After an all day-party in the Garden, I played the opening slot on the Terrace from 7-10pm. These can be my favorite sets as I’m able to play the full spectrum of my music from day to sunset & night time vibes, which is rare nowadays. I couldn’t help but pick out a few of my old school favourites whilst slowly building the room up from empty to full giving rest of the crew room to step up the energy when needed. Of course I also had to dig out some gems that have been sitting around collecting dust, waiting to be played for a while now. Strictly heads down hands up vibes!"

Cardiff based party series and now record label Haŵs are releasing their second record soon which is a tidy V.A. Naturally we gravitated towards our main man Carlo's track. Deep and punchy drums lay the foundation for partner in crime Nikoss's jazzy chords to flourish. We love the cheeky ATCQ lead line that flows over this track. All round it's a pretty handsome & classy affair, just like the guy's who made it ;).

In the meantime, we have create this new digital platform called HOUSE OF MARICAS: the art of staying at home, where we will be doing live streamings, digital content, virtual exhibitions, challenges and interviews. Here we will be showcasing different queer / music / art content, created with a bunch of very talented artists / activists, for you to enjoy at home. The aim of this, apart of creating entertainment and learnings for our isolations, is to support local artists, that are losing their jobs due to this crisis. We created this platform to try to help our family of queer artists, that's why we kindly ask you, that if you enjoy our content and can afford it, to please make a donation to our paypal account. This donations will be divided entirely among all the artists involved.
