Next up on Education & Bass Recordings, we have a beautiful thought provoking slice of Liquid Drum & Bass by our very own False Relation. A long standing passion for music has driven Francesca Smith, better known as Aria and False Relation, to pursue a number of creative endeavours. A keen pianist since the age of 10, it was clear from an early age she was determined to develop her musical prowess. Though she followed classical training in piano, she found a love for electronic dance music, particularly Drum & Bass. After achieving an MSc in Music Technology, she is now utilising her academic background as an Education & Bass tutor. This one tracker in the form of Bootstrap Paradox combines drums, musicality, emotions & BASS.

That means I made this track using all stock instruments and effects in Reason 11, which is my DAW of choice. Metalheadz Podcast 69 - Quartz

Education & Bass Recordings 004 is made up from two slices of contemporary drum & bass by a very talented artist called Scartip, who E&B has helped mentor on music production over the past year.

Introduced to E&B by Dave Jenkins (don writer and presenter for the likes of Drum & Bass Arena), Scartip is definitely one to watch in the future DnB world: "His music is like the bastard child of a neuro, jungle and jump-up threesome" - Dave Jenkins (UKF / Drum & Bass Arena)".

Fession is a heavy stomping stepper with synth growls that slice through the mix and a rolling bass that you won't be able to stand still to. Head Honcho is glitchy synth tech roller that in pre-lockdown was seen smashing up dance floors around the world.

It started out as an idea and quickly formulated in reality.  Education & Bass, the brainchild of producer Nomine aka Outrage (Tempa, Metalheadz, Rinse FM), took shape during the summer of 2016 and within a handful of months had been physically taken to many audiences across Europe and America, to both clubs and education establishments, whilst receiving a large online audience worldwide and now you too can share in the Education & Bass experience.

Education & Bass combines music and arts education with live performances. Workshops, seminars, guest lecturers, Q&A and no rules electronic music are the foundation of this unique concept.  All delivered and performed by active respected international industry specialists and college/university lecturers.
