With an obsessive appreciation for house and garage + an addiction to the dancefloor, biostrap is a never-ending exploration into the rhythms that make us move.
"This mix is heavily inspired by the oldskool garage and groovy techno sounds floating around Bay Area raves currently (that have me moving all night long) It reaches back in time and pulls out the bassy thumping garage house sound coming from UK labels like Nice n' Ripe + Ice Cream Records, as well as the hard groovy techno of UK label Primevil through the late 90s. This mix intends to be a full fledged odyssey into my taste in dance tunes; a synthesis of house, garage, and techno. Endurance is key with these grooves! Think of it like a tour of my solar system of sound. Best to listen wherever you crave the most productive energy, whether that’s on your own personal dancefloor or on the road blasting out your car, or even off your speakers while tackling some creative tasks!”
